She thinks that she’s gotten over her predicament. She misses Keroberos and Yue’s magical presence, and she would love to talk to Tomoyo again, but she can’t just sit around crying! She still had her Sakura cards as well, so it wasn’t like she was completely alone. She stares at the bouquet of roses in her hand, which she had asked for from one of the Sakura cards to cheer up. FLOWER, being the kind of cheerful persona it was, had given her an extra amount of flowers. She wasn’t sure yet what she would do with the extra, but the gesture was nice at least. She pauses in her appreciation of the bouquet, turning her head sensing a magical presence that felt suspiciously like-

“Kero-chan?” She lets out a small somewhat terrified yelp at the sight of the flying creature which was definitely not Keroberos, stepping back in surprise. “E-Eh? Who are you?” She asks after a prolonged silence. It did kind of look a little like a plush toy, but... She stares for a bit longer, decidedly pulling out one of the roses from her bouquet. “Do you.... want one of these?” She asks, holding out the rose to it.

The countless effects of magic in this place were certainly astounding for someone who has been oftentimes called a ‘magician.’ After all, he was only capable of the feats you’d see magicians upon stage performing, not magicians out of a fantasy tale. And yet everywhere he went, there was some sort of magic in place to make things so surprisingly efficient, many times in unexpected ways. 

Even the library he’d wanted across seemed to have enchantments to it, though without thorough investigation he wasn’t able to tell precisely what yet. It wasn’t his intention to investigate that right now anyways. He’d decided to wander in to perhaps see what kind of theater this place might take part in.

It was entirely peaceful, at first; until something glimmering in his vision caused him to raise his eyes away from the blurb of text he’d been reading. There was something... odd fluttering around him now, golden and unlike anything he’d ever seen before. Wataru sets the book down in favor of shifting his attention towards the little thing, raising a finger up to it as if inviting it to perch.

“Oho...? Are you something magical, too, my friend? I assure you, I do not bite, so by all means investigate me as you please ☆ ...” 

Of course, being in a library meant he had to lower his voice significantly. But even then, he still didn’t notice the sound of someone else’s voice calling out to the fluttering thing. It wouldn’t do for Wataru to be inaudible, would it?
