He was asking for it. Getting out of bed and going for a walk in the dead middle of the night, he was bound to come across a desperate homeless or a civilian with ill intentions. Whether or not he was still buzzing with adrenaline from the nightmare, his leg still bloody hurt.

        “I’ve got not a single quid on me.”

Knows she can’t police where people go, whether they can stay there or not, but something isn’t RIGHT and Jess can’t have anybody in harm's way. Not when a potentially dangerous target is supposed to be meeting her and is late, and she begins suspecting the whole thing is a setup. It’s why she’s urging the other to leave, all but PUSHING them out of the door. “ You need to leave. It’s not safe here, just go home. “
