Episode 4: Favours for Nym

The group met in hangar bay two of Home One. After a brief mission discussion, the group boarded a YT-2400 and headed to the planet Lok in the Karthakk sector. The mission: In return for Y-wing starships from Nym, the Rebels were to venture into an Imperial base and determine if the Empire was planning to strike against Nym's rule on Lok. The ship landed north of Nym’s stronghold and the group ventured the rest of the way by speederbikes and swoops provided by the Alliance.

At the base, the group realized it had been abandoned and taken over by vicious creatures. The creatures had made large nests at the base's gates and a few of the creatures had ventured past the walls.

After dispatching the creatures, the group scouted the base. As they traveled deeper into the base the group encountered dead scientists. Finding a keycard on one of the scientists, one group member was able to access the base’s computers and downloaded the information onto his datapad. In the basement were three large tanks of chemicals that the Imperials were creating. It seemed Nym’s theory that Imperials were making a weapon to use against him were true. The group worked to render the chemicals inert within their tanks, but what to do about the base? It was apparent to the group that no one should ever use the place again, so it was decided the base must go. There was a gas tank at the back of the base.

The group split into two. One group took one of the bodies of the scientists back to the ship for analysis by Alliance officials, while another group worked on destroying the base.

They enlisted the help of a R2 unit who was powered down behind the base. The droid was all too happy to help the group. The little droid accessed the gas tank's controls and turn the gas on full, allowing it to fill the base. Running for their lives with the R2 unit in toe the group just managed to escape as the base blew up behind them in a colourful and loud explosion.

Once they returned to the waiting ship, the Rebels flew to Nym’s stronghold and ventured towards his palace to deliver the good news.

After some convincing, Nym provided the name of a starship dealer who could help them acquire the much needed y-wings.

Episode 3: Home One

A quiet evening of doing chores for the Alliance soon became a thrilling adventure of evading a rogue droid.

On board the aging frigate Home One, the mission was to do some light chores from the long list the Alliance had provided; moving supplies from storage to the cargo bay, removing broken droids down to droid repair and various other odd jobs.

It was determined that moving the crates by hand was a menial task and should be done by droids. Therefore, the group went down to droid repair to enlist the service of droids.

Most of the droids were in disrepair or too small for the task at hand. Finally, a large enough droid was found who took offense to the implication that it was found in a junkyard and raised its wrist blaster towards the group. That was the first clue that perhaps the droid’s memory had not been erased but supplies needed to be moved. The droid was taken to cargo storage were it easily completed the tasks of moving crates to the ship's cargo bay.

With it’s mission complete the droid went rogue. It threatened the group once again, who narrowly missed it’s blaster fire by running through the cargo bay doorway and sealing it shut behind them. The unrelenting droid attempted to break through the sealed door. The group tried to slow the droid down by pushing crates in front of the door but the droid was too powerful. One member of the group went to find the controls for the magnetic containment field in the hangar bay but had no luck in finding such controls nearby. After a few precise shots, the droid was severely damaged and a brave member of the group cautiously approached the rogue droid. Finding a crucial power cable on the droid the man blasted it at point-blank range; disabling the droid permanently.  After just narrowly escaping with their lives, the group dispatched and went their own separate ways for much needed relaxation.

Episode 2.2 – These aren’t the droids you’re looking for

                          The group met at Tosche Station where they discussed the mission, then picked up the controls for the droids on hoverlifts provided by the Jawa. As they headed to Anchorhead the hoverlifts started to sputter. Once inside the shuttle at Anchorhead, the group flew to a Rebel garage outside of Mos Espa. The droids were attached to the speeders and the group followed a trench to hide in while they made their way into Mos Espa.

The Rebels entered the town via the slums district. Inside a Rebel safehouse, they met the famed pilot Han Solo and his wookiee co-pilot, Chewbacca.

With the droids in toe, the group traveled through the slums, and then hid in Watto’s junkyard where one of the six droids became disabled and was left behind.

The Rebel traveled through the deserted marketplace and stopped to split into two groups. One group headed towards the cantina with Captain Solo, who wanted to speak with an informant in the back of the cantina, and Chewbacca. That same group traveled through the cantina with Chewbacca, while Solo went back for the other group.

The two groups of Rebels made their way to the spaceport, and kept a constant lookout for any passing Imperial patrols. At last the Rebels made it to their destination: Mos Espa Spaceport. The Rebels had gotten the droids to the Falcon’s hangar. Although the group lost one droid, the Alliance still had more than the required four needed for Generis base.  Captain Solo, Chewbacca and the five droids boarded the Falcon, and blasted their way out of the landing platform.

With the mission accomplished, the group split up and went their separate ways, as not to draw any more attention.

Episode 2: Utinni!

The group met at the tavern in Anchorhead where we had a brief discussion on the mission and the droids we needed to acquire.

The item for trade was a broken down X-34 speeder that was wedged in between two buildings and facing the landing pad for the shuttle.

Once the group was positioned around the vehicle we pushed it towards the shuttle and loaded it into the ship’s cargo bay.

We flew to the Jawa swap meet located in the far end of the Jundland wastes. We met with a Jawa who wanted to sell us skulls but had no S9 series droids. He suggested that we go to the North Dune Sea where the Kkah tribe was rumored to be scavenging a crashed transport. For this information we had to give the Jawa the speeder’s engine and starter.

We flew the shuttle to the North Dune Sea. Once there we came upon a moisture farmer who told us the direction of the Jawa Sandcrawler. Along the way we were stalked by Tusken Raiders.

Once we located the Sandcrawler and the Jawa boss Zzik we negotiated a deal for six S9 power droids, even though the mission only requires four.

The Jawa wasn’t happy with the broken down vehicle and demanded more. The group offered 6,000 credits but that was not enough. The Jawa demanded 50,000 credits. This infuriated the group especially the wookiee who viciously growled at the Jawa.

The Jawa fearful for his life, reluctantly, took the deal of 6,000 credits and the speeder for the six S9 power droids.

The droids were transported back to Anchorhead.

Will the Jawa Zzik take revenge on the group and tell the authorities that moisture farmers stole power droids destined for the Imperial city of Mos Taike?

Episode 1: Let there be light

The group assembled in a hangar bay of the Alliance fleet’s Mon Calamari Star Cruiser. There was a brief statement about the base before pilots were rushed to their fighters and the ground crew boarded EF76 Destiny.

Once on Generis we carried the supplies in boxes and crates up the hill to the base.

As we approached the base it was clear that something was wrong

Our suspicions were confirmed when we met with Major Sterling who informed us that the power to the base had been cut off. As the base was short staffed the Major enlisted the convoy into another assignment. The mission: to travel into the jungle to the power station and fix the problem.

The engineer/mechanic in the group was given the task of leading us into the jungle.

We traveled by Tantive IV speeders to the start of the jungle path. At the end of the jungle we came across a village of locals.

The village agreed to help us find the start of the jungle path. In return we had to find a youngling who had not returned from his chore of gathering water from the village’s well.

The well had been overrun with many horned krevol and cries of help from the youngling could be heard. He was trapped down the well.

Once the krevol’s had been dispatched we were left with the task of reaching the youngling with no rope. The wookiee in the group used his claws to climb down. He was able to bring the youngling back to the surface safely.

The village was grateful to the Alliance that their youngling had been returned to them and they pointed us in the right direction.

Unfortunately, we came upon two forks in the path. After getting lost once we traveled back along the path and spotted the antenna of the power station.

After a grueling climb up a steep hill we made it to our destination – the power station.

The engineer climbed over the fence and made it into the station. From there she removed the hatch on the top of the generator only for a small nest of mynock to fly out. They had been chewing on the power cables and thus the cause of the power shortage at the base.

It was determined that the first group of engineers had done their job in haste and didn’t reattach the cover of the venting fan on the side of the generator. Once found it was re-attached to prevent any future nesting of mynock.

The group traveled back to base and the Major gave the group an envelop with a list of needed supplies that Alliance High Command should know about.

The group departed for Alliance Fleet.

Episode 9, Part 2: This is some rescue

The Rebels continued their adventure on-board the YT2400 that blasted its way off Talus, making a brief detour for a quick refuel in Moenia, Naboo. With the ship refueled, it was onto their destination; an Imperial Corvette they were to intercept during its own refueling. The bounty hunter used the information in his possession to locate the Corvette. He was right: the Corvette was where it was expected to be, with the codes the bounty hunter possessed they were able to safely approach the ship.

As the Imperial ship prepared to refuel, the Rebels ensued a warning: stand down and prepare to discuss the terms of transferring the Rebel operative aboard their ship.

The Rebels received no response from the Empire, and fired a warning shot to reinforce the seriousness of the situation. Still the Rebels received no response from the Corvette. The order was given to disable the ship, and the Rebels prepared to board their enemy's ship. Once inside, the Rebels' mission were to take control of the ship, locate the Rebel agent, and if time permitted salvage the ship for any valuable parts to aid the construction of the shield generator on Generis. However the Imperials onboard were not willing to surrender their ship to the hated Rebel Alliance. The Rebels fought their way through the ship, first arriving at the engine room, guarded by droids, and ensured the Corvette would remain disabled.  It was then off to the bridge, guarded once again by large droids, to take full control of the ship; preventing the Imperials from fleeing with the Rebels still onboard. It was then time to locate the Rebel operative. He was found safely in a holding cell. The bounty hunter informed the agent how to navigate the halls to the docked YT2400. In the meantime, the Rebels and bounty hunter began to salvaged the Imperial Corvette. Unfortunately, a bloodcurdling scream came from the direction the operative had traveled. The Rebels rushed to area as fast as possible, but it was too late. The agent was dead; killed by Imperials. More bad news was to follow. It was learned the bounty hunter had set it up the entire situation. He wanted the Rebel operative dead, as the Rebels would later conclude the operative had a bounty on her head.  The Rebels had helped the bounty hunter collect on it. Dejected, the Rebels fought their way to their docked ship and watched as the bounty hunter fled in a waiting Y8 which had had arrived while the Rebels were distracted by their fights with the Imperials as they took control of the Corvette. Once onboard their ship, the Rebels quickly readied it for hyperspace but before the calculations were ready, they received a communique from the bounty hunter. He alleged the Rebel operative actually worked for the Black Sun. He proceeded to send a list of suspected double agents with the Rebel Alliance.

The mess tent was run by the infamous soup chef, the Sullustan Gharett Rhall. He used Alliance rations, and Naboo's natural flora to produce delicious meals for the Alliance troops.

The communication center was built some distance from the rebel base, and at higher elevation to boost the transmission signal.

This building allowed the Rebels to keep in contact with other Alliance members on Naboo, and ultimately with Rebel Command. It was from this building, the Rebel group received their missions and reported back to High Command as to their successes and failures.

Alliance spy, Dr. Eabha Brea, used the building to send reports to Alliance High Command on the activity of the Black Sun cell, led by Avaro Sookcool, on Naboo.
