Lu Legend shade ooooo

Good eye, that one is my favorite of the bunch! :3

You know the shadow battles in albw? This fic is basically a love letter to that feature, in which Legend befriends a certain shadow pre-LU and the two of them get into shenanigans (and maybe figure out the power of necromancy friendship along the way).

Link wasn’t allowed to keep the people he loved. (But monsters…monsters always come back)

Okay so I finally got around to playing Oracle of Ages recently. It was really fun, I look forward to linking it with seasons and all, but I need to talk about something real quick.

I know that fandom has a tendency to stretch and distort canon source material. I went into this game fully braced for whatever I might find out. And I have some terrible news:

We aren't having nearly enough fun with Legend having a mermaid tail.

#nobody told me there was dialogue where zora explicitly call link a mermaid #or that the swimming mechanics are entirely different after getting it #or that the cave you get the tail from is so far inland it's in goron territory #also side note but why on earth is labrynna's library all the way over there #starslog

I'm in love with your doppelganger au and I just finished my, like, 4th readthrough of it. Desperately begging for more! Are there any more fics planned like the Ravio one? I really really wanna see a POV from Legend's point of view, pretty please! Is there anything like that in the works?

I do have more ideas that I'd like to explore with Legato and the rest! I have some other wips that currently hold priority (and I need to get over myself and accept that my Doppelgänger AU has gotten long enough that there will probably be contradicting details in whatever new fics I write a year later), but I hope to write more in the future :D

But in the meantime...

He gave the wings a final shake to make sure they were secure. A faint ring of magic came to life as the straps locked in place. Legato could already feel people start to notice his presence as the enchantment took hold.

I just read your doppelganger au series again and I noticed that Sky getting burned while being alerted by bushes in all the stories is a canon event and we can't change it. =))))))

It was inevitable--the downside to Sky having both the fastest draw out of the chain and the blade of anti-friendly fire. No matter how hard Legato fought, some fates cannot be altered 😔

Hi! Omg the linked doppelganger au is one of my favs, honestly i keep going back to it time and time again because it is JUST that good!!! If i were an artist I would totally draw something. But unfortunately I'm not talented in that department.

Legado ignoring what he just said: ….. What did Zelda suggest to Link when diplomacy didn't work?

Warriors : Triforce.

Legado : i’m going back to dark humor

Anyway, I hope you have a good rest of the year and I hope you thought this was at least a little bit funny I personally think it’s hilarious

And your lovely little guys lived rent-free in my brain for well over a year now 😁

XD poor guy, there's little worse than having your joke stolen from you. I'm sure one day he'll succeed in telling a joke that'll make Warriors laugh.
