[ The First Time ]
"It's called texting." Well, Peggy should be able to keep up with this fairly quickly. She's a bright young woman still and her mind is sharp enough that modern technology doesn't phase her all that much. Looking at the screen she stares at the contact place and though she knows he's gone. He's been gone. She puts in the number for Steve's house, and she can't text it. It's a land line, it can't get texts, but it still feels right. With a shaking finger she deletes it and replaces it with Jack's name.
That number probably doesn't work for Steve anymore anyways.
[ The Second Time ]
He'd be happy for her. He really would. She's in love with Jack and she wants the world to know, but she doesn't want to hurt Steve. Does he still love her the way he did so many years ago? She doesn't want to rub it in, either, so she sets her phone down, thankful that she's being called back to bed by her lover.
[ The Third Time ]
She should text him. Let him know she's going back out into the field, perhaps sometime they could team up, perhaps it'd be like old times. Maybe he'd tell her no, that this is a bad idea, not that she would listen to him anyways. It's too late anyways she's almost to her destination anyways. But maybe she should text him. It's right there. Texting is such an easy way to let people know.
Peggy convinces herself it's not worth it.
[ The Fourth Time ]
The church is beautiful, she picked it herself she would know, and she should be so happy. She is. There's nothing to be upset about, not today, she decides as she peeks out of her room to peer at the people pouring in. Sure, she's been married to Jack for...well...a while, but that doesn't mean they can't renew vows and have ceremonies like this every now and again for the hell of it. (It's not like they need to reaffirm their love, really, they've been together for what seems like a million years.) Turning from the door after shutting it silently she looks at her phone. She should text Steve. She really should, because he's happy for her (and she's happy for him) but she can't bring herself to do it. She'll likely see him in the crowd if he's there, she'll talk to him after.
[ The Fifth Time ]
It's the steady beeping of the machine and the sheer amount of boredom that the hospital causes that brings her to play with her phone. There's no new reason she's here other than her routine check up on her mind, it's a fragile thing though she doesn't want to admit it. She hates to admit it. The only person who knows the full fear she has about losing all of her memories is Jack, and even then it's been a while since she's told him about it. She's getting better.
Looking at the name in her phone she's tempted. Steve. Steve Rogers.
Before she can decide the doctor knocks on the door and the idea of texting him is forgotten.
[ The Time She Did ]
Peggy Carter has never texted Steve Rogers it's been so long and not once has she ever texted him. She should text him. It isn't like they aren't friends, they are, but she's never texted him. They've always had actual conversations on the phone. She's never thought about texting him. It doesn't seem right. Today, though, it's quiet and so she finally picks up her phone and decides on a simple text.
[ Text:: Captain ] Hello, Steve. How are you today?

2:Do they have any daily rituals?
Natasha tries not to fall into habitual activities; they make her complacent, predictable. She'll never stop at the same coffee shop twice in one week, she'll never take the exact same route to work two days in a row. It keeps her on her toes, it keeps her aware of her surroundings.
However, when in the privacy of her own home, there are a few rituals she does abide by. When able, she spends and hour or two either dancing or practicing yoga; to clear her mind and keep her body fit and flexible. After this she will normally have a glass of wine in the company of Liho on her balcony and read a book before going in to bed.
5:Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
Natasha doesn't tolerate mess. She keeps her home, her work place, her vehicle at the peak of immaculate; she can't even leave a wineglass in the sink over night. If there is a mess, she rationalizes, there is a lower chance she'll notice something out of place in case anyone breaks in or messes with her things. In honesty, its the habits of her childhood long since drilled into her and impossible to break.
As for herself, she tries to bathe at least once a day. A quick shower in the morning to wake herself up and refresh, and in the evening if she is allowed the time, she'll indulge in a bath. Her soap scents of choice are very mild and soft, honey and milk or cashmere musk with a lilting citrus scent.
18:Favorite beverage?
Natasha is a creature of simplicity, so there is nothing else to satisfy her cravings than a nice glass of ice cold water. However, she does prefer a lovely glass of pinot noir to accompany her evenings; she looks for something spicier more than fruiter.
And who can say no to a glass of scotch?
28:Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
Steve is her best friend. He provides a counter balance to her amorality that helps keep her on the right track and she helps keep him grounded in the present, while allowing him to indulge the past. They're able to find comfort and understand in one another without there ever being a shadow of a doubt at just how non-romantic they are. Even if they do fuck occasionally.
As for their worst enemy? Simply put, it's herself. There's so much in her life that has compromised her, she has a hard time trusting herself. She'll second guess her own gut instincts when it comes to certain things or people, and sometimes in her line of work that could be fatal.
49:Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
Natasha isn't afraid of dying. She's lived a long life, and knows that what she does won't allow her very many more years. That's fine with her; she never wanted to live forever anyways. Does that mean she'll simply give up? Of course not, she'll fight to survive because she has a job to do. She knows that death does not come easy to her, and it's something she'll have to earn. Ultimately, she's looking forward to the peace it'll provide.
Both I and my muses adore starspangledlegend. Not only is the mun an absolute treasure but I would be lost without her Steve. A++ all around.
Headcanon 026: Anniversary
In all the years they've been married, Bex and Steve have RARELY celebrated their anniversary on the actual date. RARELY. At her last count it was four? Maybe five?
Normally their anniversary is celebrated a week or so late when whichever one of them was out of a mission returns.
Headcanon 022: Poker Night
There is one Commando activity and only one that Bex is barred from. And that is Poker Night. She's not even barred from the strip club trips (and she has gone more than once...Manelli's face when SHE took the lap dance was priceless and so worth it). But poker is a no go.
But she's confident she'll find a way into the game. She's almost broken Rebel...the rest will follow.

Steve, It was your turn to make coffee but it seems like you conveniently overslept. How nice for you. If you can, leave a fresh bowl of water on the balcony for Liho, but don't you dare let him inside. I see black fur on my couch again I will break your nose.
Enjoy the day, honey bunches. Don't forget your Bachelor party is tonight.
XOXO

[text - iron ass] Which is why I used it
[text - iron ass] So essentially you’re tailoring them to fit you just fine
[text - iron ass] You’re welcome, Tony
[text: IcyHot] Aww, shucks. If I was capable of blushing anymore, that would have done it.
[text: IcyHot] But feel free to keep trying, preferably while said previously mentioned pants are absent
[text: IcyHot] Nothing could hope to fit me better than you, anyway.
