Unwavering. Unfaltering. The knight's gaze held even as he stared back at the one man he had sworn to protect since the beginning. He would not back down from a challenge, even when there seemed to be no end in sight. "You said the card was for emergencies. It was an emergency." He shrugged nonchalantly as Mamoru held up the plastic demon. "The girl seemed stressed and needed a night out so I offered. Don't you think you're overreacting?" ( ily babe have a great day! )

“…WITH MY MONEY?” It takes every bit of willpower that he possesses not to throttle the boy. Patience. The very virtue Jadeite is meant to embody and the very virtue that he’s lacking. The pattern repeats, and why is he even surprised? Frustration and extreme disappointment go hand in hand with his shitennou. These men who were meant to be his guides and guardians and yet it’s as if he’s the one who’s always playing the shepherd, herding a rambunctious group of boys around before they threw everything into chaos.

It’s not even the money that bothers him. It’s the fact that this is yet another BETRAYAL. Another callous and blatant disregard of the trust that he’s placed in these men he’s willingly let into his life. What peace he’s known has been shattered by their presence and he’s not sure who’s the worst of them. Zoisite is young and prone to mood swings, but at least his youth can excuse the worst of his transgressions. Nephrite is hot headed and he’s more wild animal than actual man, which explains away most of his actions. But Jadeite. He’s always counted on Jadeite to be the reasonable one and at every turn he’s been nothing but disappointed. 

“That’s fine.” He puts on a tight smile and pockets the card that’s never going to see the light of day from then on. The mask the slips in place is as natural and comfortable to him as the one he wears in his dual life. “If that was your judgement call then I hope whoever she is at least is happy.”

And with that, he turns his back on the boy. Never again. He should have learned his lesson long ago.

     He’s barely clutching his side now knowing there’s almost no point in containing the river of blood. Eyes the same shade of a clear and sunny sky are barely open and there’s a hazy vision of Jadeite hovering over the dying prince.       “Jade...ite...” A hand reaches up, trembling, searching to cup the cheek of his guardian--his friend. Endymion knew with each drawing breath time was limited and if he were to make his last wishes it had to come soon. “I-I... I want you to know...--Ah! I think there’s ants crawling up my leg!”        The young prince quickly scrambled up and ruined their faux tragedy. He shook out his trousers and with how dirty and ripped they had become a few bugs were the least of his troubles. His nurse was going to have his head after a strong word from the queen.        “Sorry Jadeite. We could try again if you wanted.”

@starstoned     rowan is my everything. from the day we started interacting back on my neville blog, i decided she was going to be mine for the rest of forever, and look, months in and we’re still doing great. rowan is one of the kindest, sweetest && most talented people i have met in my life && i am so grateful that she decided to be my friend. whenever i am having a rough day, or being stupid about something, she’s there to listen & guide me until i am feeling one hundred percent back to normal. i love rowan so much. she’s one of my best friends. 

@iradori   another one of my babes i met through the harry potter series. i used to be so intimidated by rinnie ok. like, straight up afraid to talk to her the first two weeks we followed each other. now, i straight up talk about daddy kink and other embarrassing shit to her. rinnie is such a funny person. i cant tell you how many times she’s made me laugh over skype calls && ims && everything. she’s so talented && a great writer. i love rinnie so much && i dont know where i would be without her, tbh. she’s one of the sweetest people i know && i love her so much

@passioita    sweet precious em is one of the cutest people to ever cute, alright? from the second i heard her voice i knew she’d be great && i was right. em is such a talented writer && she brings all of her characters back to life. she’s funny && i love to watch as she starts picking on the other two people mentioned above && i love her to bits. i am a huge fan of em, forever and always. 

@keeneyed     i already talked about ravi earlier, but gotta bring her back for this. ravi is so funny && talented. I’m in awe of her writing abilities && the way she seems so effortlessly funny. i always look forward to reading whatever she’s doing it, be it serious sads or hella crack. ravi, i love you, okay? i am a massive fan.
