the emperor of wakanda needed a break. galactic thrones age even the most immortal of men. t'challa's hair, dusted silver at the temples, has never been proof of defeat—only that he’s survived too many star systems to count. the stars began to blur. then came peter. displaced, disoriented, and somehow still full of spirit that half the galaxy pretends not to understand. they didn’t meet on neutral ground—they met in pursuit of something great. something ancient had surfaced on the moon of a foreign solar system, and peter’s element guns had lit up like a distress signal.

now, they travel often together. the wise emperor and the immortal star-lord. both figures that calculate and work off the greater imaginations they have for the future. one with the power of a throne behind him, the other with the irreverent wisdom of having burned his down. two star-lords, in practice if not in name. [currently developing the ravagers/star-lords status of t'challa. so if anything, this can be discussed if need be!]

002. GUNS OF THE FATHER, GIFTS TO THE FUTURE

peter’s guns are not mere weapons—they’re unique blend of science and nature that haven't been seen before. calibrated for the dna of j’son, but wielded by the son he never wanted to claim. they manipulate the elements: fire, air, earth, water. not through magic, but spartoi tech, forged in the crucible of stellar war. t’challa doesn’t see them as curiosities—he sees them as opportunities.

in the vibranium halls of the wakandan space embassy, scientists debate whether elemental resonance could be stabilized across planetary biomes. maybe he lets shuri scan them. after all, the future might depend on a gun that understands earth better than man ever did. the relationship between the technological elements of the galaxy and the natural elements of earth is good research fuel for any scientist. peter might stand to gain something himself in the process. 003: EMPEROR & THE ELECTED KING.

they are both sons of empires. peter, once king of spartax, leads from behind now—his sister wears the crown, but perhaps the war rooms still resonate at the power of his own voice. t’challa rules the intergalactic empire of wakanda, an amalgam of conquered, liberated, and allied systems unified.

their friendship is ceremonial. but it also built in negotiations, political strategies bent on the betterment of space colonies, and the shared understanding that their kingdom's legacy must be sustainable. when peter brings spartax diplomats to the capital, t’challa treats them not just as honored guests—but as potential heirs to a peace he wants to outlive him. wakanda needs friends with him gone and he and peter want to ensure they're the right kind for one another. as strong as spartax is, they might lack the military power wakandan can offer. this is inspired by your meta on spartax's government type.

004: QUILLS & GUARDIAN'S REPUTATION.

the galaxy remembers peter quill as a renegade. what they forget is the heroic math behind every explosion. not the wakandan emperor. t’challa doesn’t forget. he’s studied quill’s campaigns across the cosmos: the unification during the phalanx war, the orchestration of ronan’s kree sentries, the long con against ultron. the man once tricked thanos. twice.

when one of peter’s team is framed for annihilation-level treason—against a planet on the verge of wakandan alliance—it is t’challa who extends sanctuary. out of sentiment, and out strategy. he believes in redemption, yes. but more than that, he believes in truth. the guardians aren't some outlaw gang of genocidal killers. that's laughable, just as it is dangerous, and t'challa doesn't believe peter's friends share his immortality. together, they investigate, counter-scheme, and protect the guardians’ name from being buried under the lies. it's not a 'favor', just more of a shared duty they have when it comes to protecting the galaxy and the good flowers that grow from its starry gardens. this is inspired by from your true & false meta too.

I HAVE AN ENTIRE PLAYLIST FOR THIS LOL. but if he will be choosing one, it's definitely carry on my wayward son by kansas. mainly because he really gets to sing on it, but also he does relate to the overarching message of regret, denial, redemption, and reward in the lyrics. he still hasn't reached the reward part, but he is working on getting there!
