I finished something!
[ID: A crochet cowl in blue and green]
The main part is made with the "Nalbinding single crochet" stitch, as invented by Kris Stone of Light And Joy Designs. It's not nalbinding per se, more of a mix of techniques, and done with a normal crochet hook.
For more infos, refer to her video explaining it all:
After finishing that part, wanted to add an increasing edge so the cowl would cover a bit more neck and shoulder area.
That turned into
sc around
blo: (hdc, hdc, hdc inc) around
blo: (hdc, hdc, hdc, hdc inc) around
blo: (hdc, hdc, hdc, hdc, hdc inc) around. Fasten off, weave in ends.
Hook: 7 mm
Yarn: Viking of Norway "Nordlys", colourway 930
The yarn is actually fingering weight, so I actually used my Spinning Skillz and chainplied a skein and got a nice bulky yarn xD
And the result is a nice, bulky, soft and squishy and warm cowl and I love it 💚💙💚💙💚
