“  hey…  lie  down  with  me.  ”

Blackheart was slightly concerned. Something was wrong with Pari and he still wasn’t able to find out what it was. He sent her home, she should take the night off and sleep a bit. 

It was starting to dawn over Las Vegas, when he finally came back home.

Pari waited for him. “Did you really wait the whole night, my love? I hope not” he asked quietly and pulled her into a gentle kiss.

Of course he couldn’t resist her sweet request. “Lie down with you? Sure I will, baby. Just let me get rid of anything unnecessary …” he said and dropped his coat to the ground. 

Carefully he lifted Pari on his arms and carried her to their bedroom. With a smile he laid her down and followed her. 

With a sigh Blackheart looked into her eyes. “So, tell me, my love. What’s wrong? I felt that you weren’t alright today, the whole time. Is something the matter I should know of?”

“TIME TO GET SPOOKY.”

“HECK YEAH IT IS DUDE!” Kirishima shouted. Kirishima loved Halloween. It was his absolute favorite holiday- well maybe after Christmas… and his Birthday,.. and Arbor day was Crimson Riot’s favorite so he liked that too. But the point is Halloween was definitely up there. It just had such a great atmosphere and so many great traditions! Speaking of which…“So what should we actually do to ‘get spooky’?”

“Can you tell me why you have an actual skeleton in your closet?”

“Well it’s for the Halloween party of course! I was asked to help with decorations after all, and what All Hallows’ Eve is complete without a skeleton or at least a few bones!”

Getting one was difficult, but Aoyama had finally found a store which sold life-like, realistic skeletons. It was so real that Aoyama thought that maybe some people would think it was real! In other words: a perfect success!

The reflective surface of his sunglasses mirrored the surface of the sea, a glare of sun darting off the corner of it. The winds were mild, good sailing weather as the shouts of departure was echoed on the dock. There was always a fleet it seemed that saw him off, do-gooders that he employed to maintain that his yachts were well taken care of when he couldn’t make it out to clean his vessels after a particularly harsh squall that went through. He did enjoy these times where he could break away from the four walls of an office and confront the sea—one thing he could never officially control. Maybe this was what enthralled him the most.

This time, however, he had his sights on February. Her lifelong dream was to get on a boat and sail, to see for herself that the ocean and the sky can very well be linked into one ongoing continuum. She had expressed one day in that little coffee shop when he started to grow an interest in her that it was one of her fantasies. He had offered, at the time, for her to join him in sailing one of these days. Today it was going to go to fruition.  

He had been wearing a casual outfit on this trip, something he could not openly dress ever so often. Just a lightweight collared shirt that set loosely on his frame unbuttoned along with white capris and loafers. Though he’d usually abandon all footwear once the ropes were untied and the boat was in possession of the sea.

He was waiting for her presence at the dockside to help her into the boat. There was a lingering thought of doubt floating in the back of his mind that she would not show up. Her fears getting the best of her and he would be forced to call the whole trip off. He had some faith though as he crossed his arms and waited while the sun poured down on him.

The world had gone to shit as the remnents of despair took over. Each doing their own thing and killing whoever they wanted. One though was at his newly made alter, sitting at the top watching the world go by with his beasts at his side. His arms kept bound across his chest and the anaconda wrapped around him and resting above him looking mencingly down on the world. Hearing a noise, the Dark Lord opened one eye and looked around, spotting the source.

“Foolish peasent... what brings you to your demise? Reveal yourself and present yourself to me and we shall see if you are worthy of serving me...”

Rhealyn was sat in the recovery room where she was taken. She can’t remember much of the incident and as to how she ended up here, all she knew was that she was somewhere she didn’t know, covered in bandages, missing an arm and her eye gone. It felt weird to be here, she felt out of place and a bit different. She didn’t know what to make of this.

She kept her gaze down at the metal hand that rested on her lap as she sung softly to herself. She believed no one was in the room or near it so she decided to try and calm herself down in a way. Lightly singing a song she remembered from her childhood, she had no idea from where she heard it but it always helped her calm down when situations got rough.

“Oh my god, are you okay? Should I call an ambulance?” ((-waves- hiii ))

Blackheart was pissed. He was on the way back home to the penthouse, when a mugger blindsided him. Somehow everything went wrong, and man managed to cut his throat before he could kill him.

It was a bloody mess. Of course, the cut healed pretty fast, yet he looked like a slaughtered animal. 

Hissing he wiped the blood off his face, when somebody approached him.

Surprised he turned around and looked in the eyes of a young woman. “No, no, I’m fine. I was just a small accident, nothing you should worry about” He tilted his head a bit. “Well, hello. What was your name?”

“I thought there were no heroes left in this world.”

Blackheart was rather surprised to hear something like that pouring from Pari’s lips. “So, you see me as a hero, my love? I think you just came to the wrong person, and you should know that. This world ain’t a place for a hero”
