Let me know what you all think of this one... I need suggestions on what universe (if any) to plop this in. Maybe it might get my mojo rolling. It’s an altered idea I started some time back. ‘Codenamed: Shadow’
It only seemed like yesterday that I first peered into the mirror as a young man and saw her –a ponytail and brunette hair bouncing as she helped her mother with the new baby in the house. All smiles. No cares in the world.
Now, here I stand, clad in the armor of a leader, guiding my world through a war. And yet I find myself in front of the same mirror, staring at the same little girl all grown up. I needed her to come to me. My realm needed her to come to me. She could very well hold the power to end this millennium long conflict.
I needed her to be willing.
How can I draw her attention to me – to this forgotten place? I flicked my fingers, causing a topaz teardrop on a simple silver chain to appear in my hands. Tossing it at the mirror and hoping for the best, I watched as the necklace disappeared before my eyes and appeared on her dresser that sat beside her mirror.
Maybe that’ll be enough. It has to start somewhere. Come to me, serene one. Save us. I didn’t want to accept the next thing that passed through my mind but I knew it was the truth.

Meanwhile Knockout is his sleeping quarters wrapped up in a blanket. He is not yet aware of the chaos that was happening outside in the clinic. Why did his...offline partner come to mind when the grey beings asked about dating and bonds?? He should be fine now.
“....Hmm whatever...” Knockout picks up some nightmare fuel and sips at it. Planning to numb the feelings and pain.
Well, it looked like the jig was up. His goose was officially caught. The thing he was desperately trying to hide from the little angel was now revealed to her and they don’t seemed very pleased.
“Come now doll, it was only for yer good. I didn’t want ya to figure it out like this. Ya kno’ I don’t like keepin secrets”
Chiyo contemplated what she could do on her day off. She usually goes into town with her brother, Senri. However, she felt the need to go on her own. As she glanced out the window of her bedroom, she saw it was an overcast day. She smiled and slipped on her shoes. Perfect weather for her.
"Hey, stay safe out there, ok? The holidays can be hectic and rough, but remember to take care of yourself the best you can. After all, the holidays aren't happy if you're not well, or injured." Cue the reassuring smile. She knew the holidays were hard for a lot of people- they sure could be rough for her!
