LM’S DOCUMENTARY
at some point, the band collectively decides to film a one-hour documentary with the tagline when live gives you lemons, make lemonade mouth to give the fans a sneek peak as to what’s going on behind the scenes and in their lives when they’re not performing. they filmed it with lyle’s help and it’s currently available on youtube:
wen opts to call the documentary ‘wen’s journey’ and that got vetoed real quick among laughter. georgette, his younger sister, sighs loudly and rolls her eyes: “you’re a dork.”
scott does the first opening statement and talks about how much he’s grown since joining the band as well as the plans he’s got for his solo on their next album.
olivia briefly gets filmed when she’s talking on the phone to her dad.
stella tackles her younger twin brothers’ joint birthday party and tries and fails to make amends with her older half sister, clea.
charlie tries to interview tommy but they end up goofing off and joking around more than having an actual interview.
mo introduces madhavi - or madhu, as everyone calls her - and gives the kid some time to talk about her own passions as well as what it’s like to live with quote-unquote ‘the mohini banerjee’. madhu doesn’t really get it. mo’s her older sister and it’s as simple as that.
all the parents / family members of the band get interviewed too and while there’s lots of laughter during the documentary, there are also morose and somber moments, underlining that their career isn’t all sunshine and daisies and takes hard work.
moments in which the stress got too much, tears and anger and “should we keep doing this?”
mrs. reznik makes an appearance at the restaurant the band played at before they became a world wide sensation.
mel makes a cameo appearance at the end of the documentary too.
