Jet's third studio album, 2009's Shaka Rock, feels again like it borrows too many elements of sound from other bands (notably U2, Rolling Stones, and The Stooges) but this time around they have more of themselves thrown into it. An enjoyable album and another step in the right direction musically, don't get me wrong, but hopefully their next release finally sees them nailing a sound that's really them. Highlight tracks include K.I.A. (Killed In Action), She's A Genius, Black Hearts (On Fire), Let Me Out, and Start The Show. Available on iTunes and Spotify.
