The original #StarWars ran in theaters from 25 May 1977 to 20 July 1978. It was re-released the NEXT DAY and continued to run until November 1978. The first picture is an entry from my dad’s daily journal, dated 31 January ’78. That was the day 5-year-old Daniel found out Earth was never going to be big enough for him again.
