I had the best weekend ever with Amy! She came down on the Friday where we were so tired that we both just hung out with the flat in the evening and then Saturday, we went shopping and for lunch in Truro at this cute little American diner, then went to Falmouth town with my flat in the evening for quite a few drinks and then Sunday, we went to see Skyfall and ordered the biggest chinese ever with the rest of the flat too. It was just so so lovely to see her and to get grounded again and I'm in such a good mood now!

Argh I got tagged by staryoupossess from a while back (I think?). Didn't see it because I don't track my url. Hehe oops.

But I'm only going to answer these questions because I'm purely lazy and have already done a few of these tags on my other blog.

If you had to escape from a fire, and could only rescue one thing, what would it be? Only one thing? And is the fire in my house? If there's just any fire anywhere, of course I'd grab my cell. I suck at communication, but it's one of the few ways I can reach anyone. & my laptop is broken, soo...

Where is your favourite place to be in the whole world? With my friends. Preferably on a beach. But really, we can make anywhere fun.

If you could meet one celebrity of your choice and hang out with them for a day, who would you choose? I'll just pick all of One Direction. They seem like they can have loads of fun! And get into mischief :D

What’s your favourite sound? A tie between people laughing and rain. Probably the laughing.

If you could choose one talent (that you don’t already have) what would it be? To be AWESOME of course. Nah. More like a talent to socialize extremely well, always having something witty to say, etc. I was going to say singing (it could pay the bills) but really, slim chance. I'm just insanely shy & get way too tongue-tied.

Would you own up to something you didn’t do, to protect someone you love? If it was a life/death situation, of course!And probably in lesser sitches. But honestly, it depends on the circumstances.

Have you ever met anybody that’s changed your life? If so, who and how? Good question. I'm not sure. Probably my grandfather, as he was the one who got me interested in books & history, which I proceeded to absolutely love.

What’s your favourite tv show from your childhood? Scooby Doo!

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be? Tough. Something that would never get old to me. Forever & Almost Always by Kate Voegele? Or Kiss Me or Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran?

If you could rewind time and change one event in your life, what would you change? I'd answer the call from my grandfather.

Have you ever skipped school to do something for your own pleasure? The only time I skipped school was because my mother took the car keys with her to work by accident.

Favourite fictional female & why? I have a few that I love; Elphaba from the musical Wicked, Hermione from Harry Potter and Claire Fisher from Six Feet Under.

What one movie could you watch over and over again and never be bored of? School Of Rock. Literally seen it about 100 times and know ALL the words and it never bores me.

A food you could live on.  Some sort of fruit... probably pineapple or grapes.

Your favourite smell? Bonfires are the best smell. Also, my mum's perfume that reminds me of our weekend in Michigan.

What three people (real or fictional) would you have beside you in a zombie apocalypse? Hmm, probably someone bad ass like Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill, The Hulk because he could just smash every zombie out of the way aaaaand someone smart so, I'm just gonna say Sherlock (BBC version, of course) because he could deduce the zombies' movement patterns and shit and he'd be nice to look at.

Do you have a favourite video game? Not the biggest fan of video games, but I play COD and like... Professor Layton and stuff. The Professor Layton games are THE BEST. 

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go? I've always wanted to go to Japan, so I'd say there.

Which TV show do you wish you could be a part of? SHERLOCK (hehehe)

What is your favourite colour? Purple and Maroon (not together, but they are my two favourites)

Favourite animated movie? GAH THAT IS SO HARD. I love Monster's Inc, The Lion King and Shrek.

Went to my friend's house tonight, took some simple photos on the Rolleicord and watched about 10 minutes of A Study in Pink before realizing that we were too hyper to concentrate and turned it off. The girls who hadn't seen Sherlock before though asked the best questions. "Is that woman (Mrs Hudson) Sherlock's mum?" and "Does he have tourrets?" (after John shouts "damn my leg!". Funniest thing ever.

And we quoted Harry Potter and copied a dance from a childhood video. You wouldn't think that we were adults.

I just have to say this before I go to sleep because I just remembered that it happened

but I was at a friend's house tonight with a load of our group of girls and one of them goes "OH MY GOD I JUST FINISHED THE FIRST SERIES OF SHERLOCK I LOVE IT SO MUCH" and of course, me and Amy are like 'oh my god oh my god yes well done our son' and then Amy, letting out her inner fangirl goes: "I love Johnlock... BUT I HAVE SO MANY MYSTRADE FEELS" and of course, the girls are like what the fuck are Johnlock, Mystrade and 'feels'? 

I just thought it was funny how the tumblr-verse entered the conversation through Amy's uncontrollable fan girling.
