Hex's phone started to ring, the number being the alternate of himself he'd met not too long ago. Weird, why was he calling so soon?

“Hm?” Hex seems confused by the call. He was supposed to call the other bot, not the other way around. That being said, he’d forgotten to call in the first place.. whoops.

“Oh, is that the other Hex you were talking about?” Static says, peeking at the caller ID.

Hex nods. “I kind of... forgot to call him back.”

“No matter,” Displo says from nearby, “You can just tell him now.” Static and Displo were very excited to meet this other Hex.

Hex nods and flips the phone open, setting it to speaker. “Hello?”

"Oh? You know other versions of us?" Displo says curiously.

Static seems, well, ecstatic. "Usually people from other places only know Hex!! But another me?! That sounds so cool!!" he exclaims.

Hex actually seems a bit embarrassed. "I feel a little bad that I don't know you though.. Though if your versions of us are your brothers then I'm sure you're great."

Hi,am MaeMae or Mae if you would prefer to call me that,how are you guys?,I have some questions! Displo,when are your busiest hours? Hex, even though you can't eat,what's your favourite cake flavor? Static,How long have you been doing skateboarding and graffiti? That's all i want to say!

"It can change from day to day, but usually around dinner time there is a huge influx of people." Displo nods his head.

"Oh! Good question." Hex tilts his head and thinks for a moment. "Hmm... I'm not sure I have a favorite cake flavor. I like making different cakes and stuff though! Sometimes it's fun to make them in different shapes too."

Static bounces in place a little. "I've been practicing skateboarding almost as long as I've been out of the TV World, but the graffiti stuff's a lil' more recent."

"Why? What’s pogchamp mean?”

“Do not tell him!”

“Also, don’t call me that either, that’s dumb.”

Suddenly, there's an anxious sounding knock at Hex's door. "Huh?"

Hex doesn't even have time to get up and answer before the jingling of keys is heard unlocking the door. "...The only two who have keys to my house are..."

The door bursts open-

"Hex! We came as soon as we heard!" Displo says as he hurries into the house, a twinge of concern in his usually monotone voice.

"Are you alright?! We're really concerned!" Static follows close behind. Although he sounds much more emotional about the situation than Displo, but it's clear to Hex that they are both very worried.

"Why... Why did you come all this way?"

Displo shakes his head. Static's face displays an exclamation mark.

"Are you kiddin man?! We're here to check in with ya!! We're not just gonna leave you to die alone!!"

"You should have told us sooner. We're very concerned about you. You are like family to us."

"Yeah!!"

"You guys......." Hex smiles again, though if he were human he'd have started crying again. The two other bots rush over and hug him immediately. It seems like they'll be staying over for a while.

hey static, since hex is gonna die would you choose to go back to the tv world if it saved him?

"H-Huh?..."

The familiar sound of white noise begins to faintly play through Static's speaker hat.

"It was s-so lonely... but..." He begins to tremble, hands slowly finding their way to the sides of his head. "Sh-Sh-Sh-Sheesh..."

"That's enough." Displo says, standing in front of Static. "Look what you've done. I think you should leave at once."

Your soul theory is wrong. You're going to die and you're going to die alone. And you know what? The one you love doesn't return your feelings for one simple reason, and that is because you are a robot. Robot's feelings aren't real feelings. No one could ever love you that way. And you're going to die like the pathetic hunk of junk you are.

With that the Virus is silenced, and Hex's body powers off for the day. His cousins, shaken from the experience, take him inside and prop him up in his room next to a window to charge. It's gotten late by now, so he won't begin to charge until tomorrow morning.
