a whole bunch of spurlocke stuff! i didn’t think he’d need much in the way of reworks but MAN i’m glad i gave it a go. there were synthwave bits in his design before, but i decided to lean into it full-force after seeing some cool flightrising dragons and his colors are SO much better for it.

lily would be enamoured by the concept and make one for fun but have no real attachment to it; tetran is her oldest companion and an animal she’d have a lot of familiarity with, so she’d probably go with something pretty similar to him. for my side of it, birds are generally associated with more fun and carefree vibes, and parrot species are energetic,intelligent and chatty, which are all also traits that fit her nicely

spurlocke’s the most facetious of them; he’d think furries are neat but be generally uninterested in the concept, so i just went with whatever animal that is also cool and has lights on their bodies.

magnolia’s is a human because i wanted it to be the most basic thing imaginable, but also filled with loving warm good vibes. she was almost a golden retriever! but then i realized we could go more generic, so her fursona is a gjinka. she don’t entierly get the concept and isn’t super interested but thinks it’s cool nonetheless.

amaranth would be entirely neutral to furries and she gets big titty dragon because                           like                               shes just That Bitch. idk what to tell you man dragon fursonas just have a Vibe to them. it is also necessary to specify that her fursona would be overtly horny.

ezekiel is, again, the only one with real potential to actually be a furry; they’d go with a lion for the Powerful Noble Regal vibes. from my side of it, it fits well with their background “christian” aesthetic [yknow like light and angels and all that], and also i cannot stop thinking about the post that was like “lions are like god’s shitty op self-insert oc’s”

anyway these two are the destruction duo; they run a widely-famed coliseum in NK’s domain together, which is where amaranth is running off to at the story’s behinning.

in the opening scene amaranth sets off an EMP to knock out a fleet and then she hooks her own ship up to her tech implant things to power it and escape and i think that’s very badass of her.
