Vincent had only been getting more and more attatched to Tempest. To say he liked her was an understatement. He has grown quite clingy towards her.
With how much he invited her over, she basically lived at his place. He loved being close to her. He loved talking to her...
He loved her.
The thought scared him. The last time he felt this way about someone, it didn't end well. It never ended well.
But maybe he had a shot this time. Maybe she liked him too. He knew not to get his hopes up, though.
Maybe his recent upgrade would be appealing, though. He had recently let his obsession with sharks get the better of him and made a bit of an upgrade to his cord tail, replacing it with a shark tail. He really liked it. It was heavier than his old tail, but it made him happier. Maybe Tempest would like it too.
