I love nights like these meeting fellow petrol heads sitting down chilling talking about anything and everything
Standard summer
Perfect Sunday picked up car parts, lazy two hour drive, then tea and biscuits over a friends house.
Popped over to see my mate David to pick up a spoiler for the nova. Been toying with ideas for a while now instead of having a sr spoiler like most nova owners I was going to have a lower boot mounted spoiler. But looking at it I'm now debating having it as a chin spoiler similar to what the Japanese do with their spoilers and mount them upside down on their bumpers. The start of the revamp has begun for next year....
Checked up on the other project car the other week can't thank my good friend Stuart for letting me keep this at his whilst I sort a decent garage out for it. The mini was the first car I owned which was brought when I was 14 years old (I'm now 27) time and effort has been spent on it not to make it look pretty or show car standard but for it to be used and abused. The paint is horrid with no panel matching, rust is still an issue but I love it. It has so much character and a huge amount of sentimental memories to me a car that will never be sold same as the nova I guess.
The UK show scene saw a new show on their calendar Sunday just gone. Held by the seriously friendly rollhard brand at cressing temple in Essex, the show was nothing quite like I've been to before. I honestly don't even know where to begin with this the people? The vibe? The cars? The sceneic surroundings? So much thought and effort was put it in to the show and it showed so dam much. The cars were seriously all on point and I couldn't help feel a bit inadequate parked up next to these stunning cars but I had a lot of positive feedback and a revamp is on its way for next year, definitely a show to look out for and attend again next year...
My good friend James captured this awesome rolling shot of me earlier in the year returning from a local show
