Some random headconons/things about my Gage family

JOHNNY

-24

-loved making flower crowns with Abby

-has undiagnosed ADHD (which isn’t one I came up with first, obviously)

-Johnny was an abused child. He was abused by his uncle who offered to ‘help’ Johnny’s mother after her husband passed away

-Johnny has a tendency to stay close to a specific person after hard calls (pediatric calls where they couldn’t save the child, calls where the caller or the person called about was struggling mentally, near-death experiences, etc.), most commonly Roy or Cap

-has custody of Grace

MARIANNE GAGE

-bio mother of Johnny, Abby, and Grace

-kind

-loved cooking and baking. Anything in having to do with making something. She was incredibly good, and Jacob even made the kitchen larger so she had more room

-she handmade dream catchers for all three of her children, as well as a quilt that was on the back of their couch that was used for rainy days and if one of the kids had a nightmare

-married Jacob Gage just before her 20th, and had Johnny when she was 21

-long, wavy, deep brown hair

-doe brown eyes

-she was emotionally abused and manipulated by her brother (who disapproved of her marriage to Jacob) after her husband died

-she passed away at 37, when Johnny was 16

JACOB GAGE

-bio father of Johnny, Abby, and Grace

-American (of very distant Irish descent, which he didn’t know until Grace was born)

-grew up in a Christian household, but was very accepting to everyone (unless they belittled/dehumanized others)

-he helped a young teen who was nonbinary get away from an abusive home

-raised by maternal grandparents

-married Marianne at 21

-short light brown hair

-hazel eyes

-work in construction, often helped fix the house or other buildings on the reservation (when ppl let him)

-died when Johnny was ten

ABIGAIL ‘ABBY’ GAGE

-absolute sweetheart

-six years younger than Johnny

-light brown hair

-blue eyes

-loved making flower crowns with Johnny

-died at three due to blunt force trauma to the head

GRACE GAGE

-ten years younger than Johnny

-named after Jacob’s maternal grandmother

-has dark ginger/orange hair (from her father’s side. It got darker as she got older, looking almost brown with a hint of ginger)

-eyes are a deep blue

-looks adopted, isn’t (she takes after her father’s side)

-prefers casual wear, like jeans, t-shirts, hoodies (if cold), and sneakers/boots, but will wear dresses on occasion (specifically flower dresses)

-snarky as hell

-she has vague memories of her mother, but they aren’t super clear
