My last hour to draw before the summer came and went. Good bye TreeHead! See you in August!
I finished the head and almost finished glueing on all the leaves
I completed painting TreeHead and have started to glue on little red leaves which are only red on one side (yes it infuriates me) I also drew eyes and at this moment I have no idea what I’m going to do after I finish glueing on the leaves.
With TreeHead completely covered I started to paint (the white is a different color than the antlers which has annoyed me but I have come to let that small detail go)
The papier-mâché is done I'm making non conventional red leaves and planning out how to paint this thing white.
I'm papier-mâchéing this whole statue. Yep it's still a work in progress. On another note I've decided to make TreeHead more of a deer, moose, werewood hybrid with it being a deer/moose then painting it white and making the wings little red leaves and if I'm really good draw the deer face with its eyes bleeding red (game of thrones season 6 is premiering and I'm getting in the spirit)
With the structure finally stable (hopefully) I needed to cover it my plan: shrink rap. So number one I used a giant plastic tarp, wrapping it around the body as best I could taped it and then used a heat gun (really hot blow dryer) to shrink rap it. I also papier-mâchéd the head and finished the white horns.
I have finally got TreeHead to stand without any weird angle stability problems the only thing now is the statue is way shorter but know I can begin covering it.
