Blackthorn Crook Stave Preorder (Sold)
While I have put up several finished blackthorn staves for sale in the past (x, x, x, x, x,) I recently got my hands on a beautiful shank of Irish Blackthorn that I thought I would try selling in a slightly different way. Namely, I won't be able to start work on this piece until close to mid-August, but I thought I would share what it looks like and inquire ahead of time about anyone who might be interested in claiming and commissioning this piece as a sort of preorder.
The wood is approximately 43 inches/109 cm long, highly durable, and possesses a long and storied history of magical lore. As such, I believe it can make a wonderful companion for the right person, as a cane, a craft rod, or both. I can adjust coloration and finish based on preference, but the basic plan at this point is to give the stave a nice luster, while maintaining the Thorns.
