Lovely. Photos are special. I'm fascinated by blackthorn now. Thank you.
Thank you for your note! I love blackthorn too, in all its seasons.
'The lands pulls on its blackthorn bridal gown. Spring may well blush, as already pregnant with summer, her belly swells. We witches walk the hedges, witness to the marriage of the goddess. This is a sacred time of vows. – Emily C. Banting, 1982' (Hookland)

View at Weeting Heath at the weekend, blackthorn at Lakeside Country Park and Long-bodied Cellar spider at home yesterday and Little Egret at Minsmere on Saturday.
Yesterday on exciting lunch time and evening walks of butterflies I also enjoyed seeing my first Orange-tips of the year, Holly Blue and Comma at Lakeside with seven species seen my most in a day so far this year on one of the hottest days of the year with Buzzard and garlic mustard other highlights.
