Linktober Day 22: Favorite Character
I don't know how much people care about Miitopia anymore but here's some Miitopia miis I have made and wanted to share:
Also, and I know it's small, but I made it so that Taranza's forehead eyes(?) also blink and I'm kinda proud of it:
Ok, ok, ok. Listen, here’s what happened…
I rushed this painting. That’s it. I pushed through with it anyway and here’s the final product.
Steven Universe & Dipper Pines fusion.
This one has been under the works for awhile and I decided to just update the old style, only a little bit, whilst doing the speedpaint. It looks rushed because it was. 🙂
Hope you like it!
wanderer as of totk!! he doesnt go by the title "wanderer" anymore, he goes by his sage birth name Staven. some people still call him wanderer as a nickname or out of habit, however. wanted him to have tons of detail like most of the totk designs do, but still have a simplicity to him- like spirit tracks designs. he has sheep parts because my au lokomo are sheep/rams, based on their concept art!! ive got tons to say abt his past in spirit tracks, so i might make a separate post sometime or make it apart of his toyhouse page!!
every now and then I see people talking about Spirit Tracks, which is great (even though I’ve never finished the game)!! but I NEVER see people talk about how this guy
(Byrne) is called STAVEN in the PAL (European English) release of the game. as far as I’m aware, this is the only time the name of a major character in a tLoZ game is different in the 2 English releases. I guess it can be explained by the fact that both English translations were being worked at seperately during the same time, so there’s some differences in dialogue and names of places (Aboda Village in known as Outset Village in the PAL ver) but every other major character (idk about minor characters, too lazy to check) has the same name in both versions except him.... also I think Staven sounds really dumb and I’m kinda sad that it’s the name I’m stuck with because I have the PAL version of the game lol
At first I just wanted to draw Byrne as a kid when he was Anjean's apprentice
So naturally, now I have an au
After Byrne left the Tower of Spirits, he met Tetra, who just arrived at New Hyrule. He ended up joining the crew as a swabbie (which he didn't like much, but Tetra and the crew's company was nice). Unfortunately Hylians age after than Lokomos, so he was still fairly young when Tetra passed. She gave him the Spirit Flute
Always just gotta add a little bit of sad am I right
Anyway Byrne practically grew up with most members of the Royal Family over the 100 years, including Angel! He's kind of the cool uncle lmao
He tended to (subtly) verbally fight Cole on what Angel should and should not be able to do, and was definitely a thorn in the chancellor's side
He ends up under mind control for most of the events of Spirit Tracks, though he tries to fight it
And uh yeah hope you like it lmao
Prompt: Mechanical Arms
Edward Elric, Captain Buccaneer, Lan Fan, James "Bucky" Barnes, Byrne/Staven and Lucio have all had an arm replaced by a mechanical prosthetic. What if they were to meet each other?
If you can think of other characters with mechanical arms/limbs, feel free to add them!
Spirit tracks meme i made because i couldn't stop myself
