I was just curious, as a nonbinary person who tends to be transmasculine and uses he/him pronouns, I wondered it you guys knew of any blogs or youtube blogs that were looking for new admins(I guess you'd call them that?) If you don't know of anyplace can you help me figure out how to be a better help for my follow trans people? I'm currently in the closet in my hometown for safety reasons, but idk thank you guys for your help.
The best way to find collab blogs and channels that are looking for new members are - except from following such blogs and channels - looking through commonly used tags like “ftm”, “ftx”, “transmasculine”, “nonbinary”, “trans” etc on Tumblr and using those search words on YouTube as well. We don’t keep track on who’s looking for new members and personally I don’t know of any at the moment, unfortunately.
As for being a help, it depends on how you want to and are able to help. Since you said you’re not out in your hometown yet, maybe you want to go sort of “small scale”? A simple thing such as posting positive trans-related things in the previously mentioned commonly used tags can be lovely for people that look through those tags and see them. You could create a sideblog for that purpose if you’d like, and perhaps get some new friends through it too!
I think if you just think of what you like doing and how you can do that to help others, you’ll find something. Maybe you like writing poems, drawing, making music, sending people uplifting messages, putting trans-related puns in popular tags to make people laugh etc etc. Do what you are passionate about!
