Frisk: That's what the scanner thing said. And I think I always knew my grandpa was a little... different. Now I know why.

Papyrus: THAT IS AMAZING, FRISK! AND YOU STILL GET TO HAVE A STRONG HUMAN SOUL! WOWIE! IT'S NO WONDER YOU GET ALONG SO WELL WITH US, NYEH HEH HEH!

Sans: kinda wild that that's the costume we went with, huh.

Frisk: Yeah... I think I must've known, deep down. When I put on the costume, something about it felt sooo right! And maybe that's why like to wear it so much, even when I don't have to (plus it's cute).

Undyne: Hmm... you might be able to legally claim monster citizenship then... and Asgore will accept just about any excuse not to fight you.

Mettaton: Don't be so sure, darling. He's under a mountain of pressure to get that last SOUL. And their SOUL is human still. I think it is possible to convince the king, but it's not going to be as simple as all that.

Frisk: Wait Mettaton, didn't you say that your scanners saw through my disguise? So wouldn't you have known about my lineage all along?!!

Mettaton: Ohhh yes! I knew! But isn't it more lovely and dramatic when the hero finds things out on their own?

Funny you should say that because I had a comic where Frisk decided to stay underground instead of fighting Asgore and they disguised themselves as a Kitsune, only to discover they were 1/4 Kitsune on their grandpa's side!

I think foxes are neat! And I am fond of magical transformations! But such a thing is impossible in this blog!! But you can have a non canon treat.

Sans: no, Frisk hasn't run into Asgore yet. they've been keeping a low profile.

Congrats on the high monster ancestry frisk, hey, does this mean that you have a slightly advantage when it comes to learning illusion spells or shape shifting?

Kit!Frisk: Yeah, actually! I think so! I've already been learning magic at monster school and I've noticed that illusions come pretty easily. I thought it was because my grandpa used to show me magic tricks- the human slight of hand kind. But now I know he could have been using real magic illusions. (Though I think he was also good at slight of hand). Not sure about the shapeshifting though, haven't really tried.

Alphys: As far as I know, Kitsunes are master shapeshifters, however it might come easily to them because their bodies are made of magic. Frisk, your body is made mostly of physical matter, so changing it's shape will be much harder. I believe it is possible, but it may be painful. Or it might not hurt at all. Most of what I know is about wizards with wolf monster ancestry- werewolves (and the stories, though all interesting, have many various levels of accuracy)

Undyne: OH! OH! Maybe it's like Steven Universe! His body is part human, part gem magic so while he can't shapeshift like Amethyst can, he does have the ability. And like, it doesn't hurt him per say, but it can get wild if he holds it too long or loses his focus.

Papyrus: I THINK YOU'VE ALREADY DONE IT, FRISK.

Everyone: ????!!

Papyrus: REALLY NOW, I THOGHT YOU GUYS WERE MORE OBSERVANT THAN THAT. NORMALLY FRISK'S EYES ARE BROWN, RIGHT FRISK?

Papyrus: HOWEVER, SOMETIMES WHEN THEY GET EXITED THEIR EYES CHANGE TO BE MORE FOX- LIKE!

Frisk: What, like, for real?!

Sans: impressive observation, considering they squint most of the time.

Alphys: Nani?! I- I think I saw that but I Thought they were cosplay contacts!

Frisk: No, I don't have any contacts (though maybe I need glasses...) let me see...

* Frisk finds a mirror and opens their eyes wide. Everyone notes brown eyes. Frisk then closes their eyes for a moment, concentrating. And then they open them. Everyone gasps at their bright orange eyes!

Frisk: Whoah... that's so cool! And it doesn't hurt at all! Maybe I can try like... other stuff...

Alphys: Remember to take it easy... we don't know the limits of your body yet. I think Undyne is right. Some small transformations might be ok for you, but bigger ones might cause problems.

Frisk: Yeah, ok. I'll be careful!

So, Papyrus, I'm surprised no one has asked you this yet but, why do you hate sans's puns?

Papyrus: MOSTLY BECAUSE I KNOW HE CAN DO SO MUCH BETTER IF HE JUST TRIED!! PUT SOME "BACKBONE" INTO IT FOR GOODNESS SAKES! WE SKELETONS HAVE STANDARDS! SOMETIMES I THINK HE JUST DOES IT TO ANNOY ME. IN WHICH CASE... HE DOES A VERY GOOD JOB. AND I AM PROUD OF HIM FOR THAT. PERHAPS THAT IS WHY I SMILE EVEN WHEN HIS PUNS AREN'T "HUMOUROUS". BECAUSE IT MEANS HE IS PUTTING EFFORT INTO NOT PUTTING EFFORT INTO PUNS, AND THAT IS SOMETHING AT LEAST.

Frisk: heh heh... yeah... ^-^; I've gotten pranked a lot since coming here! But, I've also learned a lot about detecting pranks and what makes a good prank, so I guess it's working.

Chara since your soul is human and your body is all magic, does that mean you have the magic power supply of a human and the casting ability of a monster?

Chara: I have to conserve my magic energy to just kinda exist and interact. That's where my power supply goes and even then I have to take breaks and recharge- for example right now I am invisible. I spent a lot of energy to let Alphys see me. Not to mention my soul is... kinda messed up. All weird and broken and stuff. Frisk helps me focus and keep it together. But there are pieces missing. I suspect those pieces were destroyed when Asriel died. I don't think I'll ever get those pieces back.

So you got Kitsune Blood Frisk, that's amazing. Any info on 25% Kitsune's being able for magic mojo or something?

Frisk: I found out I was a wizard when I came here! I always did funny little unexplainable things when i was little, and now I know why! I think my Grandpa tried to show me magic before, with like bullet patterned birthday cards and different magic tricks. But I thought he was just a talented magician. He always got excited when I showed him one of my "tricks." O.O I looked it up and apparently one of Kitsunes' specialties is illusion! So that explains a lot and I'm kinda mad at myself for not realizing it sooner. I've been practicing general magic at school- basic stuff like sheild and healing. I study Kitsune stuff at home with books about kitsunes from the library. but all my friends help me understand it and practice.
