✨ F A L L 🍂 M O R N I N G S ✨ I've so been enjoying the cool, crisp mornings and evenings here lately. They are letting me soak up all the fall feels. The house is warm and cozy with a perfect cool breeze from the open windows and my little autumn oasis has the aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon and apples (I may have done a little overboard on fall candles this year...again). ☕ It's been so nice to cozy up with a hot cup of pumpkin chai latte, my fave faux fur blanket and some knitting projects or a book. Though I have come to enjoy the fun and warmth of summer and have always appreciated the freshness and winter reprieve spring provides, autumn will always be my favorite time of year. 🍁 Our loveliest fall was in Iowa City 4 years ago, full of color and the perfect crispness and autumn adventures. Here, the air could be a bit nippier, leaves could erupt in a gorgeous show of color and I would enjoy the scent of wood smoke in the air while we pick the most perfect pumpkins from the patch, but all and all, I really can't complain. The morning fog looks serene curling up and down out hills and hugging the trees in our little corner of the valley and our little pumpkin patch is popping with color of the cutest little pumpkins I've ever grown. I'd say it's a pretty good start to my favorite season. . . .
