1. What were you doing when you saw the DRUCK renewal announcement? It was christmas eve so I was preparing dinner with my family when the announcement happened! If I remember correctly, I actually didn’t see the it until 2 or 3 in the morning when I headed to bed... 

12. Tell us about a christmas tradition of yours that your favorite character likes to do as well! a tradition i love is after christmas lunch we always go on a big walk, and i could totally see david doing that, especially with matteo!

15. What is [character x] favorite christmas movie? I actually don’t know very many christmas movies 🙈 

but for David I’d say something like It’s a Wonderful Life, because it’s a bit more artsy (or as artsy as christmas movies go

For Matteo, I think something like Elf (which I haven’t seen, but seems like it would make him laugh)

1. What were you doing when you saw the DRUCK renewal announcement?

Which one? The one at christmas? I was wit my family, which is most of the times a time I do not look at my phone too much. So when I did I was kinda confused about the amounts of messages I got from my best friend. I think I was either on the toilet (haha) or outside to smoke. And I got very, very, very excited.

If you mean the one after the bingewatch, well I stayed up for the binge so I was kinda frustrated, not gonna lie. Don’t wanna get into it too much.

7. What christmas tradition does Matteo have?

Well, as you might know @riddikulus​ and myself have a huge roleplay going on over at @unsere-zeit-ist-jetzt​ and we have a lot of headcanons and already played out stuff for our boys. So I am kinda influenced by that. 

I believe Matteo has a tradition to decorate the whole place on the saturday before the first advent sunday. Also going on a walk around christmas at night and watching all the lights. 

14. What would your christmas gift for Matteo be?

A snuggy (blanket with arms). Don’t kill me :) He would hate it at first, but then use it and love it, I am sure of it.

Hi! Could you share your Druck memories and answer 5, 15 and 25?

Thank you for making this!  It’s so much fun to think back on the times we’ve had with Druck 💜

5. What is your most special memory of watching a druck clip?  Oh wow, there are so many.  But I think the two that stand out (yeah I’m cheating), are the one where Matteo passes David in the hallways for the first time.  I mean, I know we didn’t know for sure that David was trans at the time, but also... we kind of did.  Before that clip I’d been really sitting on the sidelines and sort of hoping that ‘Even’ would be trans for real, but I hadn’t really thought it would truly happen.  The rumours had swirled even into my little corner of the world where I hadn’t even been taking any notice of the remakes after not enjoying any of the ones I’d already tried.  So I vividly remember seeing the gifsets of the clip and rushing off to find a way to watch it.  I dunno, I had several friends who were also really excited about the idea and I just remember the huge buzz that was flying around the chats and around tumblr that day.  That was the first ever thing I reblogged from a remake and I never really looked back after that.

The other one was the party at the end of s3 ep 3.  It was the end of a very difficult week in my life and I wasn’t sure I could let myself get involved in this show and fandom.  And yet, that clip somehow bowled me over and made sure that I would never look back.  I can still remember watching Matteo’s anxious pacing in his bedroom, and the intensity of the music and the way it all just worked together to pull me in and never let me go.  I never watched exactly in ‘real time’ because my timezone is totally opposite to Europe but even going through it alone however many hours after everyone else that clip still hit me in the heart when I watched it.  I remember going right back to watch every s3 episode again immediately because it got to me that much.

15. Tell a funny story that happened to you when druck dropped a clip. Hmmm, I don’t think there really is one.  Like I said, my timezone is ‘wrong’ for watching this stuff and so unless the clips were really early morning or really late at night I never got to see them in real time.  So I was generally able to watch at my leisure when I woke up in the morning.  So the only funny thing that ever really happened was my cat trying to snuggle between me and my phone as i tried to watch.

25. Is there a clip that you can replay in your mind without rewatching it?  Erm... is it bad to say all of s3?  Particularly the earlier episodes because I was so deeply in love with it while it was airing that I often rewatched everything while waiting for new content.

9. who always starts snowball fights?

David and Matteo the little shits would gang up on the rest of the boysquad and David would definitely fight until the very end... I also can imagine Ismail would start something just to be annoying, but also Mia. She’s act all innocent and surprise you with a second snowball down your shirt.

10. what would Fatou’s snow person look like?

Fatou, the lil romantic would make a snow women couple holding hands for sure. She’d find something cute to decorate them with, maybe even some fairy lights. Or maybe one of them is riding a skateboard?

10. what would Abdi’s snow person look like?

Well, either a snow lady with big tiddies or a well-endowed snow man. Sorry, but you can’t tell me otherwise.

2. what was the weirdest place you watched a clip?

well, the first clip of the abiball episode (fernbeziehung) dropped 2 minutes before i got off a train after a 8 hour train ride (that was supposed to be 4,5 lmao) and i started watching it there but didnt finish when i saw it was just winterberg lmao dkfj 

6. what is the best memory about watching druck in real time? 

ooof definitely the experience on here i think! i wasnt active when season 3 aired but i became more active in the first weeks after it ended and it was my first real Fandom Experience yk? met so many wonderful people that made the being clowned so so worth it! but also i think something i enjoyed a lot was the break between s2 and s3 (two weeks?) cause the anticipation was killingggg me but it was kind of enjoyable idk even though i was just Observing the tag yk. this was unnecessarily long

18. has any clip inspired you creatively? many clips did! schicksal inspired a short fic i wrote for @vlindervin7 as a birthday gift, the karaoke in verliebt put me in the right mood for another fic. idk it’s too much to mention but many little moments inspired some of my writing

Hey Stazy, I could talk about Druck 24/7 like you already know ;) so I love this game so much! And I love the choice for the hearts you made (these are the colors of my favority football club :))

2.) What was the weirdest place where you watched a clip?

A highway service station where I was during Amira’s first clip.

13.) Have you ever abandoned your work/study to go to the nearest bathroom (or any other hiding place) and watch the clip? 

I am working in home office most of the time so I never had to hide somewhere to watch a clip. But Friday is my office day and I had to watch the last clip of episode 8 (S3) there and hid in an empty office and felt really bad for the remaining work day.

24.) Which clip made you realise that druck is special? Which clip made you commit to watching it?

I started watching Druck live with Season 3 and I already liked it before but the moment I was completely drawn into season 3 was the first Friday clip with the little changes they did regarding the first talk between Matteo and David and I saw another Matteo than in the clips before and he went back there as soon as Sara arrived. There were only nuances in his mood change but they were there and I loved it.

5. What is your most special memory of watching a druck clip?

I don’t really have a special memory but I think that after the last clip of 3x09 and during 3x10 the Druck tag was very special. I was only observing back then but after all this suffering everyone was so happy and making beautiful gifs and I loved spending time there.

20. What is your favourite memory of getting a druck WhatsApp message?

I have to admit that I subscribed to that newsletter pretty late (only in season 4) because I didn’t want to get distracted when I was out with friends or doing stuff. But I always loved getting the countdown notification for the new episode.

23. Has any clip helped you make a decision?

I am not sure if it has actively helped me make a decision but in general it made me more educated about a lot of topics. And thats why I think it influences some decisions I make today.
