Was texting with a work friend earlier that I haven't seen since before the pandemic. Turns out we both happened to be free this evening so we decided to grab dinner at a new steakhouse. I was just there Monday with my sister for an early birthday celebration and am happy to go back. The food was delicious!

My friend said she will be "dressing up." I, who has been there before and know it's not fancy, responded: "I will be 'dressing up' by wearing boots, tight jeans and a low cut top. After a year of just wearing pajamas, that's the most I'm willing to do."

She replied, "Whatever. You do you."
