If there was one thing Aubrie felt fortunate about, it was how well she blended in. She was wearing clothes she had shoplifted from a designer store in the Art District, so she looked exactly like every other rich kid in San Myshuno. She looked innocent with her long blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and soft features. No one would be suspicious of her walking into the penthouse. Not even the security guards would give her trouble; Aubrie was sure of it.

Loretta had shut down the security system as planned. Since no security system meant no locked doors, Aubrie walked right in and made her way up to the entrance of the penthouse. Once inside, she paused in awe for a moment, amazed and shocked at how large the apartment truly was. It was unlike any place she had ever seen before. She didn’t have time to marvel at it for long though; she had to make her way to the master bedroom. Loretta figured there would only be an hour or so window before the family’s security system being off would trigger a response from the penthouse’s security team.

Despite its size, the place wasn’t too hard to navigate. The master bedroom took up most of the second floor and it was just as Aubrie imagined it would be: luxurious and intimidating, a perfect fit for the Lunsford family’s patriarch and his wife.

It didn’t take long for Aubrie to find the massive walk-in closet and start rummaging through it. All the clothes were designer brands and the shoes alone would be worth thousands of simoleons. She quickly stuffed the goods into a bag she had brought with her. Once she felt she had enough to give Loretta and Jerry, she went for the jewelry. She grabbed a little of what was sitting out in the open, but stopped when she noticed the safe in the back of the closet. Whatever was locked away in there was probably worth more than everything in the bag she had just filled to the brim. 

Aubrie, out loud to herself: I’m sure it’s locked, but I wonder if it’s part of the security system or--

She had just started to check it out when a voice startled her and sent her falling backwards on her butt.

Liam, amused: No, it’s not part of the security system. It’s separate. The combination is 84925. But honestly? My mom takes her most expensive jewelry with her when she goes on vacation. So the safe is empty. But don’t worry, you’ll make a fair amount of simoleons with what you were able to grab already.

Lotte Visser - Headcanons

- Lotte tried to follow in her father's footsteps when she was a teenager and steal-she stole a pair of shoes from a shop. Her father made her go back, return the shoes, and pay the owner her wages from helping the tavern owner where her mother worked. He explained that he stole from those who did not miss it; the man Lotte took from would. He wanted better for her.

- Lotte tried to make her marriage work. She dutifully kept her husband company, ran the home, and laid with him. In a moment of rage, he slapped her for not ensuring his trousers were folded the way he'd always folded them. After that, she stopped trying.

-One of the house maids said that Lotte's husband was married before her, but his wife left in the night after a horrid fight. To save face, he quickly found another wife and told everyone he kicked his former wife out for cheating.

-Lotte does not enjoy much of anything at all, but when she feels the rare spark, it is for music and casual sex. Lotte has never felt love for anyone other than her parents.

Hermes-Have you ever stolen anything?

okay, gather ‘round, and let me tell you of the time i was busted for shoplifting something i didn’t steal, and how i have a lifetime ban from K-Mart.  My friend and i (we were not bad kids, just poor) were hanging out in K-Mart (like a walmart but not as cheap, not as big selection. no food but chips). We wandered around, we looked in the electronics and i picked up a movie (it was a VHS i think- this was that long ago).  we went to the pharmacy aisle and i decided i was going to shoplift condoms.  (no money, but i was going to be safe with my business.)  walked around a bit longer, and then put down the movie and left.  Then the security guy was like “where’s the movie?”  i told him i didn’t have a movie, i set it down.  he told me he saw me take it. i told him WHERE i set it down.  he said nope, i must have stolen it.  Made me and friend empty our pockets in the security office.  found the box of condoms.  asked where i got them- lied and told him i carried THE WHOLE BOX just so i could be safe- he was like ‘yeah right’ and so i got banned.  

omg i haven’t thought of that story in years. 

Cernunnos-What is your favorite animal?- To be quite honest, it’s probably whatever animal i’m looking at a picture of right at the moment, or petting right at the moment.  higher on the list are animals i’ve spent a good deal of time watching/interacting with- cats (of course), large/very large breed dogs, baby versions of any animal, horses.  nondomesticated animals- penguins. 

Morrigan-What do you think happens when we die?

I think that we get reborn (our souls) into a new body, and that soul-families (like the people you interacted with here- whether your closest friends, your lover, your co-workers, sometimes that one person that you really hate) are generally reborn to know each other again in new combinations- sometimes lovers in one life will be neighbors in another or gay lovers in another.  I think you get reborn as long as you want to (using the spiritual Want- what your soul desires).  Then there’s a Heaven of sorts (an after-party?) for souls that are done getting reborn.  i imagine it like a peaceful forest. 

Atum-What are your greatest imperfections?

- I’m easily distractable, which gives people the impression that i don’t listen/that i don’t care.  i do care, but i just forget to pay attention. -I don’t like spending time with people, probably to a pathological extent.  I’m on medication for it. -If i were a deadly sin, i would be sloth.
