#stealth hood

Hi! Could you please help me - I want to delete Hobbies and Magic stealth hoods (that my sims have already visited) according to your tutorial, but terrified of some leftover dangling sim references and stuff. Is it safe to nuke them even though the lots have been visited? Thank you so much for your exceptional work <3.

Yes, it’s absolutely safe to remove the lots, even if they have sim references on them.

In fact if you delete the stealth hoods using the in-game delete button it will already do all the job for you.

But deleting the stealth hoods won’t get rid of the sims already added to your neighborhood if you used the default stealth hoods, it will only get rid of the Hobby/Witch lots so you can turn your neighborhood into a subhood again.

Yes, I made a version with the SSN_EMPTY version and it seemed to work fine in brief testing. I have messaged PlyPlay about sharing it, but did not hear back. It is relatively easy though. Use HoodReplace to put my lots, terrain, and deco into PlyPlay's hood, then move all the lot files from my hood's Lots folder into PlyPlay's. Finally, extract the LTXTs from mine and import them into it (you only have to do this, actually, with the lots where I used LotAdjuster, but easy to just do them all at once). So, basically, you are keeping PlyPlay's hood, but replacing all the non-sim bits with mine.
