Ducks swim in the chilly surf along with any penguins willing to take a risk. A sealion has been patrolling the beach watching for unsuspecting birds. The sealions are large but very agile in the water. Penguins are a favorite meal. Cape Pembroke Lighthouse is silhouetted in the distance, perhaps a warning to boats and birds, alike.
