I'll be alright :) It just stinks because this kind of ruins my two days off, which I'd been looking forward to for some time. Oh well though-it'll make the week back better.

It is unbelievable how people call girls with dreads racist! The only racism here are the ones calling people racist. Would you agree, that a girl of any nation has the right to have her hair as she likes?

Yeah like a) Basically every culture in the history of ever has worn dreads at some point, b) even if it WERE a "black only" thing, as long as you're wearing them because you genuinely love them and how they look and not in a mocking fashion, it shouldn't be an issue (but as I say, basically every culture so that point is barely valid) and c) Claiming only people with certain skin colours have certain things or do certain things is far more racist than having a hairstyle.

Holy crap the whole of the UK? I thought it was just Northern Ireland because of all the bombing and crap that happens here. Ick.T^T Closest I've found is "Surgical Spirits" but its like £4.99 for a small bottle and I'd need like 5 lol

What do you suggest when at work, i try and try to fit in, be nice, and everything, but still get stepped on like i don't exist. Then.. get the response that i am too sensitive when i show that it hurts. Thanks

Mmm well its hard. I suppose I'm lucky in the sense that, I've settled in fairly well with people, enough to sit and talk to people and enjoy myself but also not so much that I can't sit and do my own thing when I feel like it, so its a good balance.:3 It just really depends on the people you end up working with, and it is hard, but if thats how they are, you just have to try and harden yourself to it and get into the "FUCK YOU, YOU ARE NOT WORTH MY GLORY ANYWAY" mindset and just chill and do your own thing without them. Its nice to fit in, but if you just can't, trying repeatedly and failing will make you feel worse so you just have to try to not care, ignore them, make them come to YOU if they need something. Its the only way to stop yourself caring really.
