I’VE GONE THROUGH MY ENTIRE ROOM. WHY CAN’T I SHITTING FIND IT
I'VE LOST MY HEADPHONES AND SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MEANS INNOCENT PEOPLE WILL DIE
I'm going to hurt someone.
How fucking dare you think that's okay.
It's not. I hope you feel horrible about that but since you drew it and posted it online you probably don't you buttfuck.
Sparks. Finally.
So before Christmas I got a painting commission and the clients paid me by buying me air conditioning. This is something that I've never had before, and given where I live, this is impressive as by rights I should be a pile of ash by now.
The first sparky (electrician) installed the unit and then discovered that he'd have to run cable downstairs to the mains, and he didn't have a master key. After much back and forth, I discovered that the strata council don't have a key either. Great.
I emailed a bazillion sparkies to see who I could book to finish the job, with tomorrow as a specific deadline. A bazillion. I know, you've told me a million times not to exaggerate. Get off my lawn.
One of the sparkies called back the very next day, and the job was booked and confirmed. Since then, the original sparky has been making disgruntled/disappointed noises that he can't finish the job. Let me just point out again that he doesn't have a Western Power master key. He asked who I'd booked, he sucked in some air through his teeth and said "sounds expensive." I think that's code for "But I want your money".
Tonight on the eve of the works being done, one of the other bazillion sparkies finally called me back. He breezily told me that they couldn't work to the deadline I'd outlined two weeks ago, but they could book me in soon. I told them the job had been booked already, and got another thoughtful air sucking noise.
Sure I'll pay a bit extra, but if the surcharges include paying for someone that will answer their phone and turn up when they're needed, it's totally worth it.
You know, I'd find it a lot easier to cool my temper if I had air conditioning.
