Steampunk style is very expensive but you can become inspired by these items and make similar stuff yourself. Try going to Jo-Ann and looking in the jewelry section; you can find a lot of great steampunk accents there. Then you just hot glue them on or stitch them on by hand to your shoes or clothing, it is what I do.
