My personal pipedream is to make an animated series. I've always loved animated shows ever since I was little. I still love animation and I much prefer it over live action.

Ideally, I would love to make TCOMC animated series. While I know a lot of people want original shows, I just feel like TCOMC is a story that should made into a show.

The Count of Monte Cristo is a really good book, and I feel like it is one that a lot more people should get to experience. This book is insane in all the best ways, and I think I that people would like it if they gave it chance.

While we are on the topic of making that TCOMC animated series. One thing I would love to do for that is to make Edmond Autistic. It's a bit of a weird choice but it's one I'm making, nonetheless.

At first, I was hesitant to commit to this idea but then I realized that it could be interesting. It could be really fun to incorporate something like this into a version of the Count. I've talked with a couple of people about adding this and they love it as well.

Once again, this is just a pipedream. It probably won't happen. I don't know a thing about making art or animation and making a series would probably be a lot of work.

Lately that dream has started to seem much more achievable. I recently started to doodle just for fun. It's just been a little something that I have been doing whenever I am bored.

I just picked up the only kind of pencil that doesn't make me feel any kind of sensory pain and started drawing. I didn't expect to make anything I would like.

Fun fact about me: For years I have kind of gaslit myself into thinking that I could not draw. I just accepted that I never could and admitted defeat.

Well, I managed to prove myself wrong! It feels great! I should prove myself wrong more often.

Also, I have seen that an indie animated adaptation of Frankenstein that aims to be faithful to the book is currently in the works. If people are interested in an animated adaptation of Frankenstein maybe people could possibly be interested in an animated adaptation of TCOMC...?

It is still a pipedream, but I do have some hope!

I do want to make my own version/adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo one day. It's a big dream of mine and probably won't happen anytime soon. I already have a basic idea of what I'd what want it to be. I want it to be like the TCOMC anime (Gankutsuou) where they just made it a space opera for some reason. I want it to be absolutely nuts while still keeping the spirit of the original book.

I remember this line in the book that described Edmond's hair 'as dark as a raven's wing' and that gave me an idea. What if they were birds? What if all the characters were like Hawks from My Hero Academia and had giant wings? What if all the characters were symbolically linked to a specific bird species?

I don't think that's insane enough. TCOMC anime has Edmond Dantes as some sort of space vampire, we can get weirder. So, I tried to think of ways to make this even more nuts.

Then I had another idea, what if we make it steampunk? Yes. Just yes. A story taking place in a steampunk version of France with bird people and an overcomplicated revenge plot. I would absolutely love to see that.

Anyways that's my idea, I don't know if it will be a video game, animated show or whatever. I don't even know if people would like to see this but it's still my idea and love it to death. I'd love to hear what you think of it.
