All about the steampunk art genre and style.
Steampunk art originated from japan and they were the first to illustrate imaginative stories based in comics commonly called ‘manga’. This was probably influential in the rise of Steampunk art, as with Furry art, which also took its style from Manga and Anime. Steampunk art is a relevant documentary of our history and an interesting visual reference relating to current world issues.
Steampunk History 16th September 1736, death of Dutch-German-Polish physicist, inventor and scientific instrument maker Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit. One of the most renowned figures of the Dutch Golden Age of Science, for his invention of the mercury and glass thermometer and the temperature scale named after him. 17th September 1677, birth of English clergyman, botanist, chemist and inventor Stephen Hales, the first person to measure blood pressure, and inventor of forceps to remove bladder stones; which was guaranteed in the 17th and 18th centuries to increase blood pressure. Hales was also a friend of the English antiquarian and physician William Stukeley. Pioneer in the early field of what later would be called archaeology for the first scientific investigation of Stonehenge, and other prehistoric sites.
