Ely chewed their lip in concentration as they took the small blue flower from Stede's hand and did their best to weave it into his hair so that it would stay. They sat back a little and smiled at their handy work, any worry that had risen from the nightmare now fading away. Letting Ely braid his hair had certainly been a good idea.
"I like it." They concluded. "I tried having long hair for a bit but it kept getting in the way when I was doing stuff... but you're captain so people just do stuff for you."
