Geez! Where do they keep coming from? Was he holding a party he didn't know about? If so, they were all in for a big disappointment! Because like hell was he having old friends (and enemies) trash his home! It's a lucky thing that his kids were with Winry at the moment, up in Rush Valley. He was thankful, because he could already tell that they'd be a bit spooked by all these people. Well, his little girl would have been. As for his son, he might be a bit more outgoing and social--like himself.
Sighing, he was at least relieved to see that each of these faces were familiar to him. "Alphonse!" He called out, noticing him first. "Al! Long time no see! How've you been?" He grinned. For a moment, he ignored the other two, tending to his younger brother who'd been away in Xing for a good while, now. Hey, who says a guy can't miss his own brother?
After a few moments, Edward turned to Mustang. It'd been a while since he'd met up with the Colonel--and if he remembered correctly, Roy'd been promoted shortly after the Promised Day ended. From what Ed understood, Roy was now a General or something of that sort. It was, admittedly, a nice turn for the better. But what he also understood was that Roy allowed Dr. Marcoh to use the leftover Philosopher's Stone to restore his eyesight and Jean Havoc's legs to their former glory. So be it.
While he disapproved of the use of that stone, he wouldn't try to fight it too much. It'd just be cause for a dead end fight that he couldn't win, even if he was being rational. He knew all too well that Mustang did it for a good reason, and that's all that mattered. "Good evening, Colonel; what brings you here, huh?" The use of the title 'Colonel' had become habitual in the end. After all, that's how he grew up referring to Roy Mustang as.
Lastly, Edward noticed Kimblee. He wouldn't lie, he still felt disgusted by Kimblee's choices. He hardly had a heart, or so Edward firmly believed. It was all so terrible to him, the things he did both in Ishval and after. And for what? To feel powerful and destructive? Bah! He didn't want to waste much time mulling over this crap, so instead, he uttered a rather calm and cautious, "Kimblee," while golden eyes stared piercingly at him.
