This is "Hacking Into The Gate," the opening the Stein's Gate as I see it because of synesthesia!

LoZ - Translation System Idea
Have ya'll ever heard of Stein's Gate?
It had this system in place in the game where the characters would talk about things relevant to their interests or culture or the situation (including concepts involving theoretical science), but certain words would be entered into a sort of non-diagetic in-game dictionary that you could look at later & it would give you a definition of that word or term or phrase so you better understood the conversation.
One way Nintendo could've kept the words & their cultural significances in the game in an organic way could've been the use of a similar system.
Because a lot of context & lore is very much lost in the English translation of the games.
Such as the fact that Demise specifically used the term Rin'ne when invoking the curse. Or the fact that the Lightning Sage used the term Mōshū to describe Ganondorf's change in character.
Or the fact that the Sheikah Stone beside the Temple of Time in OoT actually used the term for "boy hunting" instead of "boyfriend" like in the Eng translation when referring to the Gerudo coming to Castle Town.
This would've almost entirely erased the fandom's confusion over certain things. Though, admittedly, it may also bring up different confusion & debate.

I really should be studying
Who I wish I was in isolation with:
Hange Zoe: they’d be a great conversationalist. I feel like I could talk to them about anything and it’d never be boring. 10/10 would probably stay up until the early hours discussing random conspiracy theories.
Levi Ackerman: my flat would always be clean, there’d be lots of tea, would be great company when I need some quiet time, would probably swear at me when I get too angsty, which would definitely make me feel better. 10/10 would admire physique from a distance because I’d be too terrified to approach.
Okabe Rintarou/Kyouma Hoouin: would be a great companion for Hange (I take care of my isolation mates). More than that: he’s just a lot of fun (I’m talking Stein’s Gate pre-Time Leap era obviously). Also, can you imagine an interaction between him and Levi? This is something that NEEDS TO HAPPEN please. 10/10 would relieve any boredom I have by going on random monologues about “the Organisation”, conducting experiments and laughing maniacally.
Hermione Granger: she would help me with my university work. There are no flaws in this plan. She would definitely not hate Hoouin at all (wink wink). 10/10 would increase my self discipline tenfold.
Gabi Braun: this is more to protect her from the hate the world is throwing her way. She is a child yet everyone seems to treat her like an adult. 10/10 would protect her with my life.
Erwin Smith: Levi needs a friend too or else he’d be lonely. Also the amount of chaotic personalities in my flat would probably cause World War III, and we need a strong leader. No one stronger than our fearless commander. I feel like taking care of a group of overly-emotional humans will be a nice holiday for him. 10/10 would smother with love and bake cake every day because HE DESERVES IT.
Steve Cortez: Steve deserves love and affection. And I will give it to him. Would be a great offset to everyone else, as he’s actually level-headed and calm. 10/10 would make sure he gets enough sleep and food so that he can become healthy again.
Kousei Arima: because apparently every single adult in his life is terrible, from his abusive/absent parents to his piano teacher who dismisses the traumatic childhood that he had (I haven’t finished the anime, no spoilers please). 10/10 would feed him all the egg-mayo sandwiches in the world.
Who I’m actually in isolation with
A 27 year old overly-anxious woman with insomnia who hates cleaning and does not want to do her university work and instead procrastinates by watching anime. It’s me. I’m talking about me. God I’m exhausting.
Just finished Steins;Gate 0 and I found it a little disappointing in the end. In particular it bothers me that we see the terrible future still existing even after future Okarin sent the video back in time. If that future still exists for those versions of the characters, why does it matter for *a* version of Okarin to reach Steins;Gate? (This is kind of a problem I have with the way time travel works in general in these shows, and I think it would work better if world lines just stopped progressing at the point a new one takes over due to time travel. From what I’ve heard, the visual novel works more like this.)
Also, shouldn't his reading steiner have kicked in after he sent it so he would automatically end up in Steins;Gate? (Again, though, this is kind of a problem with the way the shows work, as whenever Okarin sends a D-Mail we never see him receive it and act on it. We only see him appearing in the changed world with no memories of exactly how the changes came about, so if 2025 Okarin's reading steiner were to kick in when he sent the video, his memories would overwrite the memories of the Okarin we actually see, ie. the one who acted on the video in 2010.)
ohohoHOHO my PAST?
