My favorite thing about JLM's barren upper arms is how it looks like he got the left shoulder tattoo to cover it up. like it just covers that region almost exactly. it is his shield from his hairless shame.

Begs the question: how much of his hair is tattooed on?

how did you start writing? school? fic? something else?

When I was little, like maybe 4? We had a typewriter that I wrote my first stories on. There were two on the page. One was about a "pithon" and an eagle who shared a lovely breakfast. The other was about a "gost" in a "kasol". I contend, to this day, that that is the most metal way to spell "castle". 

But yeah, idk, it's something I've always done? For school, definitely, and I started writing fic back in...probably 1998 or so? Star Trek and The X-Files, terrible stuff, and I didn't really take my fic writing all that seriously until Alias in the early 2000's. 

I always wanted to be a writer, but it took my whole life to get to a point where I allowed myself to try to publish.

I love Orphan Black, but I feel like I would love it substantially less if I ever interacted with the fandom. Maybe that's unfair. On the other hand, the Orphan Black panel at WisCon was the only full-out BAD panel I went to, so.

1) What is your favorite place to imagine visiting/living that you would never under any circumstances want to actually visit/live? Fictional places/fictionalized versions of real places obv included. 2) What is your favorite thing that you hang on a wall?

1) HUH. You know, I thought about this a lot, and I can't come up with a place where I'd under no circumstances visit or live. Possibly I'm just taking that far too literally and I have far too active an imagination. I mean, just thinking of the circumstances "if money weren't an impediment" opens up a slew of places that I'd otherwise not consider living like LA, HK, and NYC. And, while current space travel would be awful for my delicate mental health, I can come up with plenty of circumstances under which I'd happily blast off. 

Augh, I'm thinking about this too much and depressing myself wtf let's say Xavier's/Jean Gray Academy! Yes! Let's say that! 

2) I move a lot and am terrible at settling in. I usually go a year or more without making much of a mark on a place. That said, I nearly always tape this up somewhere: http://www.poetryfoundation.org/poem/236810

Remember how omgstopbeingashittyperson made up a whole boatload of lies about one trans blogger, purely because she didn’t denounce MPOC?

This is the biggest lie of them all next to the accusations that I sent messages to people. Once again no proof to any of this but that's not a surprise.

Edit: I think Steinpratt was talking about Blue-Author/Alexandaerin otherwise I don't know. Even then it's still lie because I never made up a "boatload of lies" about her. Everything that was said about her was true. Blue-Author wasn't called out because she "didn't denounce MPOC" she was called out for her gross "fetish", support of Riley, and oversteps herself. The vore fetish isn't a lie and you can go through her likes to look at them and she also admitted it. So where these "boatload of lies" are I don't know.
