Personality and habits? Well…

• Kurisu hates being called a “genius,” but deep down she’s juuuust a little proud of it. She simply feels like it devalues her hard work, like it’s all “talent instead of effort.” At the same time, though, it flatters her because people are praising her intellect.

• She has a habit of talking to herself when she’s deeply focused or working. If you interrupt her, she gets genuinely irritated and sulks, though later she’ll reluctantly apologize.

• She often doesn’t get enough sleep but pretends everything is under control. In reality, she can fall asleep right at her laptop.

• Kurisu doesn’t handle heat well. On hot days she becomes even more irritable and sarcastic. Summer in Japan is basically a whole trial for her.

• She has strong inner discipline: if she sets a goal, she’ll pursue it no matter what, even if she’s emotionally burned out.

What about her interests and daily life?

• She loves scientific forums and sometimes argues with people there anonymously just to “let off steam.”

• She watches weird science videos before bed, not for usefulness or “pseudo-scientific value,” but just to “calm and relax her brain.”

• Kurisu can spend hours explaining complex things in simple terms if it really matters to her that you understand. She’d make a decent tutor, though probably not the best teacher.

Emotions and vulnerability? Present.

• Kurisu struggles to express her feelings directly. Her “care” comes in the form of logic, help, explanations, and time.

• Makise is very afraid of being replaceable. Her fear is that her intellect matters more than she does as a person, that she’ll be seen only as a tool.

• She has a hard time accepting compliments, she’ll either joke them off, argue, or grumble. In short: a tsundere.

As for her relationships questions?

• She enjoys “intellectual flirting,” meaning teasing, sarcasm, and hidden compliments. From the outside, this “flirting” looks more like arguments than anything romantic.

• Surprisingly, she gets jealous, but she’ll never say it directly. Apparently, even a genius like her isn’t immune to irrational feelings typical of ordinary people. Her jealousy shows through sensitivity, irritation, and sharper remarks.

• In relationships, it’s important for her to be taken seriously, not just as a “smart girl.” Her intelligence is both a gift and a curse to her.

Some small details:

• Sometimes she freezes, staring into one spot, thinking about something so complex that others assume she’s “lost touch with reality.”

• She likes silence, but not loneliness.

>both have adhd and autism

>okabe has a crooked nose from having waited too long to set it after breaking it (mayuri accidentally headbutted him and felt so bad she was crying so he kept trying to insist it was fine)

>mayuri always picks up on when okabe switches and was the first to notice him having OSDD to begin with. deadass went 'WHO ARE YOU' when they were younger the first time it happened around her and scared the shit out of them

>transmasc okabe with mayuri once again being the first to realize(even before him) and while she didnt rlly care that he was a boy she was convinced from the very beginning that he was and was very confused as to why everyone was calling him a girl (learned to not crack the egg too early with luka/ruka as a direct result of the gender crisis her confusion threw okabe into)

>okabe scars rlly easily and has a number of little nicks on his face and hands from blowing things up on accident (and sometimes on purpose)

>mayuri's arms are covered in thin scars from stray cats she picked up/played with. she's had to go to the hospital multiple times for cat scratch fever but she never learns

>both okabe and mayuri have rlly weird reactions to pain/dont tend to register pain as easily/quickly(jus like me frfr shfhjfh)

>mayuri has a fascination with fire and her n okabe once did an experiment with making candles that would burn with different colors(she has like a dozen scattered around her room that she lights when shes upset)

>okabe has asthma and chronic pain

>okabe suffered an incomplete spinal cord injury due to the stabbing and lost partial sensation and function in one leg. post canon uses a cane and occasionally a leg brace(hip knee ankle) when walking longer distances. mayuri decorated the cane for him to encourage him to actually use it (it worked)
