*Bzzzt* Hi there! I'm RoTai, assistant to Professor Maximillion Fort! I'm afraid the professor is busy at the moment, so many new trainers wanting to start their adventures needing a Pokémon to keep them out of trouble! But since so many of you trainers might be new to Akadeos *zzt* Akkadios, he asked me to introduce you to some of the Pokémon native to this region you may never have seen before!

So I figured let's start with the Pokémon made famous by the legendary Champion of Akkadios! Oooo, I hear among certain circles, this one is considered part of the illustrious 600 club! I have no idea what that means, but I'm sure it's good *bzzt*!

ORLION - The Star Gazer Pokémon - A Fighting-type Pokémon. Quiet and polite, Orlion are always seeking out new knowledge. It is said if they ever develop the spine necessary to stand up for themselves, they could be the greatest fighter of all.

STELEON - The Star Saviour Pokémon - A Fighting-type Pokémon. It's said that Steleon have a natural instinct for helping, and will always jump in where there's danger. Scientists say that Steleon have a secondary organ that allows it to convert starlight into raw power.

*Bzzzt* Sound pretty strong, right? Orlion are pretty rare, often habituating in open areas with a clear view of the night sky. Steleon are even rarer, said to be only able to evolve when exposed to a rare stone known as a Starlight Matrix. Wild, huh?

I hope this has been an illuminating experience, and I look forward to introducing you all to more of the Akkadios Region!

The current number one trainer in the Akkadios Region, multiple times winner of the Pokemon World Tournament, and the current champion of the Akkadios Pokemon League. He's a master trainer, and something of a hero to boot. Trainers who collect the Eight Gym Badges of the Akkadios region have a hard time challenging him though, as he has a habit of region hopping to help with whatever crisis is going on at the time.

As soon as there's trouble, Akkadios' shining star is there in a hurry, whether it be containing the emergence of strange extra-dimensional entities known as Ultra Beasts, helping get people away from Dynamaxing Pokémon in Galar when the Darkest Day looked to repeat itself, and helping calm down the rampage of Rogue Mega Evolutions in Lumiose City. Perhaps his proclivity for heroism is why he's developed a massive fanbase. Indeed, many of the trainers who joined the latest Pokemon World Tournament started their journey wanting to be like him, and that's not just limited to the Akkadios region. Just ask young Houtaru Shoutu.

On his team, Orion boasts a variety of powerhouses, including the formidable Palafin, who shares their trainer's heroic tendencies, a focuses Lucario with the ability to Mega Evolve into its powerful Mega Z form, and the scrappy Machamp capable of Gigantmaxing into a titanic colossus. Perhaps his most iconic Pokemon, however, is his Steleon. Heroic just like him, it's funny to think about how much he looks like his trainer. Does Orion dress like his most popular Pokemon, or is it just a funny coincidence?

While Orion has captured many Pokemon over the years, perhaps his most impressive catches are his Legendary Entei and his Mythical Zeraora. While both are incredibly powerful Pokemon, capable of truly amazing feats, it truly says something about Orion that both of these Pokémon have a strong respect and sense of loyalty to their trainer.

Now Orion Paxton has returned to Akkadios to open up and host the Pokemon World Tournament. For him, it is a privilege to see those he's inspired display their skills, and he truly wishes all these young trainers the greatest of successes in their future. And if they surpass him? Well, he can live happily knowing he did some good in his time as champion.
