Mara wandered to her neighbor’s house to see if Bonnie would need a sitter that weekend. Sometimes the other woman wanted to go out and Mara liked babysitting, she thought it was helping her prepare for her own child, and even if Bonnie wasn’t going out she could maybe join the two for a movie or cook dinner for them. Bonnie had been so kind and helpful to her since Mara moved in two weeks ago.
