I feel like I need to introduce you to the wonderful world of allotments. They are places where people without a lot of gardening space can rent a little rectangle of space within a plot of land and plant fruit and veg to their hearts’ desire. Perfect for people with apartments or postage stamp gardens in urban areas. Common in cities, towns and villages alike.

Ah ok, that makes sense! What a perfect Andrew project! I live for all the future headcanons that have him starting a garden. :D

I know the concept. My small town had a community garden. I've just never heard it called an allotment. May I ask what (general) region you hail from? And any of my followers weigh in. What do you call a community garden?
