"is it warm enough?"

the czar looks over at the smaller figure sharing the bathtub with him, watching as they settle into the lukewarm water where soap bubbles started to form. his eyes set on their ears, making them twitch under the intense gaze.

".. yes. it's just right." they kept their head down, unable to look him in the eyes. they loved him, yes, wholeheartedly. but as much as they do, they were terrified of him. the countless deaths, the wounds that made them go through excruciating pain before they passed out–

"you did great today, yui."

... and yet, just a few words had them eased. no matter how much fear bubbles in their body and mind, he makes them go away so easily with those words. doesn't matter if they're genuine or not, at least he's treating them well. looking at them so lovingly like that even though his eyes are sharp and obviously predatory-

opium raises a hand, making them flinch- but he doesn't stop. why would he? be it during sufrocide, or something relaxing like this, the czar doesn't hesitate to do what he wants.

he pets their hair gently, almost unsettling since he was so brutal. he’s using the same hand he used to pick at their veins.

the other combing through the tangled strands, the same hand that plunged a knife into anywhere but their heart.

he stops petting their head, tracing down to their neck with his painted nails. stopping right at the spot where he cut their throat and watched them choke on their own blood.

he smiled, almost beaming at the memory. he gets to do that again tomorrow, he almost can't wait. yui looks up at him, giving him a small smile in response. they made him happy, that's what matters to them.

maybe tomorrow he'll try drowning them.

…but for now, he'll let them be in comfort. let them rest.

Day 79: Helix of Equivalence

A youtuber (Negative Legend) once said that you can judge a fandom size based on the amount AO3 fics. To test that theory, I looked at vocaloid series and related subject matter: these are the findings. I can safely say it can be debunked.

(this was also really fun to do)

Also: Ghost has so many series/popular characters that I just put them on the list instead of Communications or Qualia Automata or whatever else

And for software: Miku is vocaloid, Defoko is utau, Teto is synthv, Maki is voiceroid, and Fuka is cevio

I'm also sorry if I forgot any Vocaseries, I am not a walking encyclopedia (though my friends like to joke that I am with all the obscure things I know and obsess over)

auron looks like he killed his best friend by bashing him into a wall then revived said best friend and proceeded to blow up his workplace only to survive. then after he ran away from the scene he basically gets adopted by a gay couple and on a walk or smth finds the best friend that he killed and then something i forgot the rest of the stellar paradigm
