A little illustration for chapter 13, "The Cold Sea Floor". It's actually the final panel in a comic, and I eventually want to go back and make the bubbles float up… in any case, this is what I created in one evening so I figured I'd post my progress :) Took me probably 6 hours on Procreate. I'll post the rest of the comic once it's finished. I thought to change her sweater color since it's a lot of green-on-green, but didn't want to draw with any warm tones in this piece; it feels appropriate to only have cool tones here, and I usually depict her in her favorite flower shop sweater anyway (the one she was abducted in). Not sure why that detail stuck with me, I don't own anything like that haha.
As usual, I encourage my readers to imagine MC however they please! I usually just draw her with aqua hair and gray skin - I've never been a fan of drawing the bald 'Y/N' character since I enjoy drawing more "finished" works that could be considered stand-alone artwork even without context. Or maybe I just like drawing pretty hair 😅
