Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa
Definitely, definitely Bellamy. Sometimes he gets distracted by the strand of her hair that got loose from behind her ear, or she’s talking to him and he’s looking into her eyes, trying to count all the colors he sees in them (they’re like two perfect universes), or she’s excited about something and she’s smiling so wide he gets caught up in the happiness and – it’s not so much that he pushes a door he should have pulled…he walks right into it.
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them
Bellamy. He’s not really an artist, but he can manage hearts, for the most part. He’s claimed hearts as his doodle. She doodles in the abstract, trying to make into an image the things she feels for him. She wishes she were a writer, because metaphors are so much easier to interpret than her painting of the sky in the precise shade of red she sees when he kisses her.
Who starts the tickle fights
She does! Bellamy’s learned to sleep with one eye open. Tickle fights may break out any given second.
Who starts the pillow fights
This is definitely Bellamy. It started as a way for him to laugh at himself when he was angry – Clarke got tired of his angsting in a corner so she told him to get a pillow and hit the practice dummy with it, and he felt so ridiculous he couldn’t stop himself from cracking a smile. Naturally, Clarke was feeling a little jealous of the dummy, who was taking up all of Bellamy’s attention, so she just had to join in on the festivities. They end up on the floor after Clarke jumps him, pillow in hand, just laughing.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile
Bellamy. It’s sort of his thing.
Who mistakes salt for sugar
Clarke, the morning grouch. Bellamy sees it coming but lets the situation play itself out. (Clarke ends up laughing at herself, which is a pleasant surprise. She even kisses his forehead that morning before she heads off to work.)
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning
Clarke. She falls asleep with food in the microwave all the time. She waits for Bellamy to get home from a late shift but crashes early, and the first thing he does when he gets in the door is take out the food. Then, of course, he eats it, but only after covering Clarke with a blanket and turning on the TV.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines
Bellamy! She’s lightened him up so much that he’s become very into puns.
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order
Neither. The books go WHEREVER THE HELL THEY WANT!
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies
Clarke, mostly, but only if she says please real nice.
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion
Bellamy. Clarke pretends she doesn’t care about romantic gestures of any size, but he knows better – he sees that smile on her face when she steps out of the shadow and the lights are dimmed just enough to see the faint glow of the candles.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen
Clarke. She actually used to be a tattoo artist, and she’s been begging him to let her give him one. “I’ll come out of retirement for you!” “No way, I know how nervous you get around me,” he smirks. “Your hands would shake like crazy.” She slaps his arm: “Oh, shut up, you!” and they laugh.
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation
They travel together! But they’re a snow globe family.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines
Bellamy, as what started out as a joke and turned into a really serious thing. Like, if they don’t get the soulmates answer, they retrace their answers and start over. They’re both total perfectionists when it comes to their relationship. They’re never disappointed.
