Discussing The Fall on this website is so difficult. It will always boil down to some of us just "not getting" Alan Cubitt's genius.

I mean it’s deep, the way a freshman discovering Nietzsche AND Margaret Atwood in the same semester is deep. Too deep for me and my hundreds of degrees.

I had the freakiest dream last night that I was at a giant XF Tumblr meet up with so many actual people on here, most of whom I've met and know what they look like but also others whom my head created totally random faces for. It felt so real. @tofutti-rice-dreamsicle and I were nervously clinging together like we do and @stellasgibson hung out with us, @i-heart-scully was holding Roxas and talking with @campaignofmisinformation, @aloysiavirgata was with @perplexistan, I kept trying to make my way to @dashakay and @scienceandmysticism across the room and I was getting veryyyy annoyed that @gold-and-braid was running late because I wanted to see her. Many others were there too but I can't remember exactly who. What is this???

Every time I read a new fic I text my second by second reactions to my friends and it's a lot of screeching and emojis and CAPS and autocorrecting gone wrong and I always I feel like I ran a marathon after. It's wild.

it’s a super weird thing!! it is kind of like a brand name I guess, like one of those products that one brand makes and is easily the most popular so people just start calling the product BY the popular brand name… I don’t know, I can’t defend it, it’s just ingrained in Canadian culture and so we accept it.

this actually makes a lot of sense. plus kraft dinner is not even close to the weirdest thing i’ve heard something called. all my wisconsin friends have weird ass midwestern names for things that my east coast ass cannot accept. you can have your kraft dinners though. with your cute french translations on the box :-)
