She uses more… brute force techniques than Lumine.
When you first brought up the subject she had just ignored you, something so trifling wasn’t her problem.
She already has enough to worry about as is she doesn’t need you adding more problems, she needs you to be obedient and help her on her mission.
After bringing it up again she’s quite annoyed with you.
Maybe now wasn’t the best time…
Making a move to walk away you’re caught off guard when a hand reaches out to grab your wrist roughly.
She pulls your arm well above your head, forcing your body to turn to face her.
Your arm isn’t used to the awkward stretch, a searing pain traveling through your muscles.
“Stelle that hurts-“
“You will not leave me behind.”
Her voice is firm, absolute.
What’s so hard to understand about that? She thinks to herself. What? Does she need to tie you to her in order to keep you from running off?

Lumine
Oh no no no she is not having this.
After losing Aether this poor baby has such bad abandonment issues, she’s not going to just let you get away that easy.
She understands you wanting to go off on your own adventure she really does, she’s been dragging you along on her adventures for months now and not even she wants to be doing this anymore.
But she doesn’t want to lose you, she doesn’t want to lose anyone ever again.
So she’ll make you a deal.
Stay by her side until she can get her brother back and she’ll take a turn following you on any adventure you’d like to go on.
She doesn’t consider the fact that you may not want her to go with you on your journey, that’s not your choice to make in her mind.
She will be by your side no matter what happens.
“My darling…” she’ll kneel before you, holding your hand close to her heart “…you are mine just as I am yours, I will protect you from any foe…”
She kisses the back on your hand …”I will defend your honor against any who question it…” her eyes look back up to meet your gaze “…and I will remain by your side until I take my last breath.”
