Huh, this is a tough one! I’d say superstitions run deeper with the beastclan members of the Oasis, but this has rubbed off on the dragons. Morrison, a ridgeback who digs caves and such into the cliff side for housing and other such purposes, likely believes that the caves he uncovers already in the oasis are haunted- which is likely true. To mitigate angering the spirits, he’ll leave trinkets or food in little crevices for them, in hopes of appeasing them and allowing him to pass. Largely, this seems to work! Hopefully it will continue to do so.

Lots of the tales are probably like this, with varying levels of legitimacy; the earth flight is known to have restless dead, and those who’ve been in the area longer than the clan will likely all have a story or two about seeing strange figures in the night, that vanish when you get close. The unlucky among them may even have stories of having to fend these creatures off.
